Power-Closing Sliding-Door Retrofit

Yes, bought the key using the correct part number against my VIN so it came pre cut to my van

Yes, I set that one and byte 10 you suggested earlier to get it all working before trying the key adaption
You have never showed us the final result.
Or maybe I have missed that?

I havent made any progress since the last post above, i moved house late last summer in between lockdowns and lifes just been getting in the way !

The install is complete and the door works as expected but i does not actuate from the remote fob, i can operate it with the door handle or dash buttons so its not really been a problem

Got the T6 inside today to fit and code a new battery so had a look back through the coding for the side door and i cant find anything ;(

I have checked everything i can find that seems relevant, i have used @mmi excellent excel spreadsheet to compare my van versus 3 with factory electric sliders, the only bytes i can see and have doubled checked are 1/7/10/26

Running out of ideas now, only thing left to do is get an admap of mine and try to compare against some with factory installs ???

If anyone has an admap from a factory elec slider it would be welcome, I’m sure there are a couple posted around so will have a search

I remember a long time before I started this I was at TPS with the sales manager looking through etka/BCMs and mine didn’t show the PR codes for elec door, he seemed to think it would need changing and that is why I initially shelved the idea, it’s still quite feasible it won’t work with my standard BCM, there are loads listed on etka and I still do t fully understand the logic/colour codes behind them yet as they all have the same part number

What is your BCM?
Can you post complete info?

Heres my info

Not sure if this is any help - a scan of an early T6 (MY16) in the UK - has left and right electric sliders.

Have added that into the coding comparison and virtually identical to my current coding, all differences accounted for

According to my knowledge your BCM is definitely compatible with electric sliding doors on both sides.
Actually mine factory fitted BCM is almost identical to yours.
If coding/adaptations tweaks fail I am happy to post my spare(original) BCM over to you for testing purposes.
The only condition is that I need it back (for my experiments ).

I dont fully understand the differences between BCM models/software revisions
Having a look through etka and there are 57 separate pages of BCM listings

Capture.PNG

and clicking on a random page from that list gives me over 100 bcm variants !!

Correction, mine is(was) older than yours, HW80 SW0733

So back on this tonight, i had a chat with Loz today and we came up with a minor idea to try
When adapting new keys you hold down the unlock button to pair it to the van so i deleted all my keys and when adapting the new remote fob i used to new side door button instead of the unlock button and it successfully added the key, turns out it didnt make any difference and the side door still wont open from the fob but i have proven the van is receiving and interpreting the signal from this button

Following on from that im now thinking the van is receiving the signal but either doesnt know how to interpret it or its not getting passed along the chain, i have investigated the door control module 0D and although it has no coding it does have adaption values and i note that channel 0 is 'clear learned values' exactly what BCM channel 0 says which clears existing keyfobs so possibly i need to clear door module but im hesitant as i have way to add anything back in !

Thoughts gents ?

ps I could still do with a couple BCM admaps from factory fit elec doors to compare i currently only have @Deaky to look at
pps i could do with some door module admaps/block maps to compare also

Just charging my laptop then I’ll scan them for you

@Deaky @Pauly perhaps you could try to see if pressing the extra button is reported in blockmaps.
The regular buttons are seen in 015-1
For my basic three button remote: Not oper/Lock/Unlock/HDF depending what button is pressed (HDF=tailgate, Heckdeckefernentriegelung=remote's 3rd button).
Just to confirm it triggers a different function.
Perhaps to monitor also neighbouring groups at same time just in case.

Latest blockmap decoder is here (an attachment) -->

Here ya go
