Recommendations for first timer, lone female traveller

 I'm appealing that verdict - it was all an innocent misunderstanding m'Lud.

Anyway when are you actually going to show your face at a forum event?
I am far too busy badj-splaining absolutely every single thing that is ever queried on this site - especially when no advice has been requested. I barely have time to do my job (converting my van)!

As my grandad used to say, "Stop bletherin' 'n' start lakin'!"

I left Facebook a few months ago, but if you're on there, you might/should find groups for single females and wild camping. Whether or not this extends to van camping I don't know, but might be worth searching the groups.

Usual caveats though..... not all group members may be trustworthy, or in some cases even female. It'll depend on how well such groups are moderated.

As said above, maybe go for a camping and caravan site first? I know there’s a discount when I’m doing nights on me tod.
Keswick is a great site (worth the drive up the M6), get used the to van and enjoy 👍
