but stil no luck ...only let pop open the tailgate but not rise it up or down
Only the key fob + button in the trunk lift the trunk or close it
But I have to let pop open it first otherwise no chance

No i cant close it whit the driver’s door switch when fully open the only thing what the driver’s door switch + trunk handle doing is pop out of the first lock but further no function

My Mrs is on the short size and struggles to get the manual lid down so seriously considering this kit as an option

Hi, sorry for the delay in replying, I don't frequent the forum very much. At the moment everything is ok, no problem, everything works perfectly.
Hi can I ask you where did you connect the wires to the canbus system ? I’ve been searching green and yellow in my t6.1 to connect mine electric tailgate oem parts used but don’t know where to look anymore. Hope you can help me out.

Hi, I'm fitting my Hansshow kit now to my T6,
The instructions really are crap.. Why they only include cropped tiny pics I don't know but anyway I managed to work out how to get the struts in.
It completely skips this bit in the manual.
Basically you fit it so the bent bar pieces go at the top on the tailgate with the arrow facing down. I put the washer behind and then the nut in.
The the other brackets are marked left & right. They go in above the rear lights. The round ball pin goes on the bottom. with the dimpled nut going above. Should make sense when putting together.
I'm now at lock electrics.. It says to cut milky white wire that powers the lock... well all my wires in the tailgate are white not coloured like in these pics..
Can anyone help me out?

Otherwise guess I'll just strip a bit of each wire and try each wire 1 at a time..

I haven't even yet put the can bus wire on. Will do that tomo to get it to open with the boot key on the remote.
For anyone fitting this in a T6 the as you look at the power clip plugged in its the top wire you need to cut.
From the hardness wires Red goes to the wire coming in.
Orange to the plug side.
Then the other three wire plug has better photos in the manual.
As you hold it in-front of you clip side facing you.
It's the wire on the far right you need to T into.
Only other tip is there is a little red wire that comes with the power feed this is to wire up for the led button light.
I found it easier to just T into the main power cable.
This means the buttons will always be lit but that's ok with me.
Presume the other way would be to wire up to the numberplate wires? but you'd need another wire and again to fiddle working out which is the + & - as both wires are white.

I saw this thread a long while back, and after parking up at the beach a few times and wanting to open the tailgate without having to get up, I decided I needed to act upon it and fit the powered tailgate. As I have a Caravelle Executive it already has power latching, so part of the work is done...
Unfortunately I didn't read the full thread, if I had known about the Autoease kit I'd have probably gone down that route. But I've already got the Kufatec loom here, and now can't find any reasonably priced modules or actuators on eBay...typical
But I do always like to do it "how VW intended it" so I will persevere
As I'm currently isolating, now is the time to get the most daunting part of the job done (to me, anyway) - taking the interior to bits to fit the loom. It looks like I need to add an extra wire to the Kufatec loom to engage the PDC module, @Robert can you confirm whether that's the only extra I should add? And do you have a wiring diagram at all or any relevant pin designations? I will probably add some spare wires for future use, as I already need to add two extra for my side assist mirror LEDs while I am doing it
Progress will be slow as I haven't got any of the bits yet except the wiring loom...but I'll keep you posted. Big thanks to Robert for all the info and especially the custom bracket drawing.

And do you have a wiring diagram at all or any relevant pin designations? I will probably add some spare wires for future use, as I already need to add two extra for my side assist mirror LEDs while I am doing it
Progress will be slow as I haven't got any of the bits yet except the wiring loom...but I'll keep you posted. Big thanks to Robert for all the info and especially the custom bracket drawing.
You need to run a wire from the tailgate module to the PDC module and add a couple of relays. I haven’t been able to get this to work, could possibly be to do with needing some parameterisation of the tailgate module or PDC module

Has anyone else had the same problem as you? I wonder if it could be caused by the old generation (7E0) PDC module. Some of us upgraded to a later one as part of the side assist retrofit, and it engages whenever there is an obstacle detected and you are stopped or travelling at low speed - not just when in reverse like the 7E0.
