Show Us Your Old Pride And Joy Cars From Yesteryears

Still got my olde pride and joy car from yesteryear. Had it from new, only 40k miles, full Volvo history, 340BHP with map, uprated injectors and intercooler. These days only comes out at show season and does only 2 or 300 miles a year and lives in a carcoon over winter. Now weighed down by a boot full of concours trophies.

In 20 years time are we all going to be saying, "I wish I'd kept that T6"?
(if you can still buy diesel fuel!)

Diesel will still be about but will no doubt be eye wateringly expensive as the government try to wean us off it.

it’s as pure jap as it gets.
A legendary Toyota Supra with a 3L straight six twin turbo 2JZ engine
Like the Skyline is tuneable to over 1000bhp
If money allowed, I'd have a 2jz manual mk4 supra and r34 gtr v spec in my collection. I'd also try find a clean escort cosworth and a clean e46 m3. I've dreamt of my dream garage, but £4.20 wins on the euro millions are taking its toll on the dream.

I remember seeing a forecourt brand new 1973 1300E Escort in purple metallic when I was an impressionable teenager, two door and had the polished stainless wheel trim rings on the wheels, gorgeous.
My Dad later had the mk3 Cortina 2000E with the square headlights and vinyl roof but I always wanted the early MK2 Cortina 1600E in aubergine with chrome Rostyle wheels or the 3000E Capri in light orchid.
As it happened I had motorbikes on an apprentice electricians money, considerably faster but sadly by the time I should have had a flash car you could still get a terrace house in Northampton for £12k so got one of those instead... damn reality.

I'm loving the Smart. Original W450 models in good nick are getting rare now.

I could show all my cars, but I've had about 34 i think. I went through a stage of buying a car, modifying it, then selling it for someone else to enjoy. The amount of money I wasted is a joke
