Connection 3 of running gear sensors CANbus.


The brown sounds very strange for CANbus - unless you mean orange/brown. Then your finding would be the convenience CANbus.

Perhaps the best way forward would be to get proper documentation of the exact vehicle you have.

Please share a full VCDS Auto-Scan.

It seems to me You have selected a file with a dataset. And you need a firmware file. Its format is FRF or ODX

I managed to inject a set of data for tire pressure
also for the PDC in vw 36x
fewer defects
camera ok but not the front and rear sensors

I have now got the Blind Spot and RTA system fitted and I think it's working pretty much as it should, I do have a couple of issues though, so if anyone out there with more knowledge than me can help with any of these points it would be really helpful.

When I scan in 3C Lane Change Assistant Right I only see the master (686B), never the Slave (685B). Most other scans I have seen do show the Slave.
I'm using OBDeleven, could that be why?
Is it anyhting to worry about?

Also on the subject of scans I am showing one error in 19 Gateway, and it is related to the Lane change assistance control module (No signal/communication)
Does anyone know how I deal with this?
Could this be related to not being able to see the slave unit in my scans? (the left side radar does seem to be working 100% correctly)

Next question is about calibration, on my last scan a couple of days ago it was showing:-

Status is running
Auto Calibration, percent, progress, Master 1218.00km
Auto Calibration, percent, progress, Slave 100%
Distance of object 4 100%

I can't work out how this works. Since the Blind Spot has been working I have covered approx. 500 miles/800 km.
What does the KM figure actually mean? It doesn't seem to go up at the same rate as I drive, and it started at something like 900km. Doesn't make any sense!

How long does it usually take for callibration to finish?

I have the problem, everything works in the mirror lights, yet the slave control unit is not recognized both on OBD11 and ODIS Engineering. Did you manage to solve somehow ?

You’ll probably only see the master. Can’t see the slave in VCDS but both mirror lights would indicate master can see the slave

Yes it seems to be working, but besides not being recognized in OBD tools, also the light on the dashboard does not show up. I fear that the control unit works, but it does not seem to be able to transmit data on the CAN bus (it however seems to be receiving data from the CAN BUS since I can enable / disable blind spot on the dashboard through the wheel controls and both lights turn on for 4 seconds on the mirrors which is very strange).

I changed byte 18 to 50 ok
but can you give me byte 16 because I do not have access to the bit on my address 03 and currently I have byte 16 = 38 modify it to A8 is it correct or not? thanks gerry
