I'm pretty sure we didn't attend. We might have sent a dog team. That was a huge job.I know we had Bucks USAR team down at Didcot Power Station, and I think the second team was Hampshire, but can't remember. Did Lincs come down? Would have thought it was probably too far but you never know. Sure I saw something on the log at one point about Lincs, but could be wrong.
It is indeed. Thanks matey.I'm happily retired now mate......but I had a (mostly) great time so no complaints from me. Make the most of your experiences mate......it's an honourable and underrated occupation.......and stay safe!
Ah yes it could have been a dog. Sure was a big job, stood at ground zero the day after it fell; the scale was off the chart, completely overwhelming. Had been in the building before when it was still fully operational, but it never seemed so big, probably because you go in through the extremities which are not so high.I'm pretty sure we didn't attend. Worked with two FRS teams on a recent Coastguard shout. Great to do a team job; RNLI was involved too.I know we had Bucks USAR team down at Didcot Power Station, and I think the second team was Hampshire, but can't remember. Did Lincs come down?
