Hi does anyone know of or have used a company called Statement Campers in Castleford near Leeds? they seem to offer affordable roofs with 5 years warranty for 2.5k.

I think that’s previously unheard of in the pop top world. I’d read the T&C’s of the warranty very carefully.

Be careful where you spend your money.
If the warranty is long with an apparently young company check if it's insurance backed or backed by the OE supplier. As to see a specimen copy of the warranty documents.
Otherwise there is a risk that the company may not be around to claim from.

So what we are saying here is that they sound a bit suss. Not bothered so much about the warranty more concerned about the quality of work and if anyone has any experience or the product and if they are decent people with a good track record id just never heard of them.

The guy who put me onto them told me they had moved he didn't say why could be a bigger premises or cheaper rent or anything really. I don't want to slate them and that's why i'm asking if anyone has any experience of using them. Exactly, plus there are so many well established camper conversion companies that cover a range of budgets.

We just had a pop top fitted in our van and Statement Campers were excellent. We drove down from Scotland to Castleford and the guys did a fantastic job. They were recommended to us and have completed lots of pop tops and conversions.
