T6.1 MPG

Don't know about the trip computer, but when I had my Astra I put £60 of fuel into the tank every two weeks. Now my same £60 gets me three weeks between fills.

So far I only travel to work & back at present which is mostly motorway. After the camper conversion is completed this may reduce the available mpg because it won't be an empty van anymore & secondly the adventures will start so a different driving style will creep in.

Anyway my Kombi is way better than my old Astra limited edition.

Just lovely the van dream, brings back memories of my T2 & T25 days.

Cheers
Mike

Mine's a 199PS DSG Transporter and I usually get 38-40 mpg, always with about 700kg on board.

just put the first 2k on the new 150 manual t30 kombi
i drive with a heavy foot

log shows current average @34mpg, long average gives 31mpg
soon be time to slip a stage 1 on there, as i did oit with the last t6, and it improved mpg by approx 7--9mpg!!

want to wait till 5k on the clock, to iron out any teeting troubles first

180bhp remapped round town 30-32 mpg with motorcycle and touring get 38-40 mpg according to computer!
Remap was designed for overtaking (get out get past get back in) and towing the motorcycle (250 kg + trailer) compromise between economy and safety !

150hp 4motion LWB, 33mpg mixed city and highway 50/50, winter tires +0'C - +8'C

Caravelle T6.1 199bhp getting just about 400 miles per tank if I’m lucky, approx £75 per fill, this returning about 20p per mile, not very good at all and that’s mostly motorway, don’t want to calculate around town costs!!

Hi Andy hope your well Iv got the same spec and I’m doing about 400m on a full tank normal roads no motorways. 199 are fast aren’t they

Hiya

yes they are damned fast, going to have tyre pressures looked at in morning may make a difference
Have you got the discover pro?

Just wondering what people are getting?
I have a T6.1 199bhp dsg and I’m getting around 35-38 mpg and over 500 miles between fill ups, mainly A-roads and motorway driving.

I reckon you are doing alright there.

Would you say you drive carefully to save fuel?

I have a 4mo Cali 204 DSG and with balanced used town/b/a/mway I get between 420-450 from 75litres ish.

It does get better on the motorway but very rarely will I spend 400 + miles of a tank on the motorway.

My van has just done 1000 miles. The mfd is showing 38mpg. I dont drive to save fuel, but as its new I haven't thrashed it either. 150 DSG
