Mine is at Emden too, looking at start/middle of March, apparently...I had build week 2. I have a VIN number, a reg plate assigned, but no van! Still sat in Emden. Supposed to be collecting next week. That’s not happening now.
I was told there was a broken down fully loaded boat. Another boat leaves tomorrow and another Thursday. Hopefully ours will be on one of them. Still too late for my arranged Monday collection.Mine is at Emden too, looking at start/middle of March, apparently...
I’ve a bit of time so I thought it interesting to see how it converts to pound ,Ahh, you're in Oz - sorry, I hadn't twigged. That would explain why you're not constrained by UK contracts
So, did you have to pay a premium for a fixed-price contract?

Not comparing like with like here, I know, but that seems a good price compared to mine. I'm paying £41,200 for my van, and this will increase (to what, I don't know) if the van hasn't been delivered to dealer before end of March [thanks for that VW].I’ve a bit of time so I thought it interesting to see how it converts to pound ,

Do you know if it's the tow-bar itself that's causing the delay, or the prep for the tow-bar?Evening all. I ordered my T6.1 kombi back in March. Have been waiting for a confirmed build date. Finally got one in the new year. Week commencing 21st feb. Emailed dealer today to check all is still ok. I’ve been told order has been delayed to first week in April. They have been told the towbar is holding it up. It’s only got a handful of extras on it. Anyone else had this? Can’t believe a towbar is all that’s holding it up. So gutted.
Interesting over here in Oz the reversing camera and 80 litre fuel tank are standardNot comparing like with like here, I know, but that seems a good price compared to mine. My order is for a LWB T32 Kombi Highline 150PS DSG (with tailgate) in Pure Grey, with the following options:
[43A] Heated driver | front passenger seat
[PXE] LED headlights
[PXH] LED tail-lights
[ID2] Removeable tow-bar
[8W4] Heated washer nozzles
[SQ7] Manual N/S sliding door with power latching
[ZEH] Electric tailgate with window
[SAE] Carpeted cab flooring
[NY4] Uprated starter battery | alternator
[KA1] Rear-view camera
[0F5] 80l fuel tank
The price doesn't include any dealer/ servicing/ warranty options.
I can see why the bigger tank is standard - Oz is one vast country - but why the camera I wonder. Are cameras standard across the market, or is it just VW that doesn't rate your countrymen's reversing skills?Interesting over here in Oz the reversing camera and 80 litre fuel tank are standard
