Has anyone contacted VW UK directly and asked about there order and what they say . Does it work by dealer allocation or is it just luck of the draw . I am starting to get impatient now but know there is people a lot worse off than me as I am only approaching the 9months milestone . I see now you can make an order for the new multi van on the configurator on VW UK website . Great to see you can place an order for that but people have been waiting well over a year and don't even have a build date.

I've just had a call this morning, 10am on Thursday 10th March from my dealer (JCB Ashford). They have confirmed price increases will be effective from the end of this month. to confirm, my APR and dealer deposit contribution remain the same, as does the discount. The Net price, however, does not. I bought a Highline Kombi with 10+ extras and my net price is increasing overall £2,200 + VAT. This is EVERY price increase since I ordered (30th June 2021) plus any more to come, until it arrives.

I was given the option to walk away, but I chose to remain.

Thats not the best news @Steveparky as thats a lot more and with the uncertainty that there won't more increases .

I starting to wonder if this is VW plan as I am sure ALOT of people will start to cancel there orders which will free up some delivery spots and reduce the amount being made so they can move on to the multi van.

People who are willing to pay the price increase might find there orders coming faster but thats just wishful thinking

If you look around at what Audi and other VAG group and other manufacturers are doing (22 deliveries being pushed to 23 already), i think you'll probably start to see complete cancellation of outstanding orders.

Ukraine supply disruption is going to have a MAJOR impact throughout 22 into 23.

Nearly a year in and my prov .build week I got a couple of weeks ago has disappeared....no explanation as to why but I can probably guess.

Unfortunately the factory is closing for at least two weeks from the end of next week(week 11), due to component availability - Mainly wiring looms which are made in the Ukraine. When I hear more I will update

To be fair this information only came out today. I’m sure all those with orders will be contacted (or maybe not)

Had the exact same call around the same time today, actually missed the call at first and got excited hoping for some good news until I rang them back. Also ordered mid June last year. SWB Kombi, 204 DSG 4Motion plus a rake of options, estimated delivery date on time of ordering was march this year but still not even a build date. Price increase so far of around £2600+ VAT so far, considering just taking my deposit back and walking away at the moment, I'm a bit gutted to say the least.

I've heard more issues this week with raw materials for aluminium.... Not sure if this will affect T6.1? Still having nightmare planning anything at work with electrical components!
