yea had mine waiting at port for shipping, over 1 month so far, salesman is sayings because of weather the delay?I can’t believe how lucky I’ve been. I had a call from Listers Van Center yesterday to tell me that my van has left the factory and is waiting at the port to be put on a ship. I’m probably going to have one of the last vans out of Germany for a while.
I’ve only been waiting since early September 2021.
It’s a Highline LWB 150 DSG, indium grey, from swivel seats, uprated alternator & battery, tailgate with heated window and wash/wipe, heated washers, power latching rear and side, discover media, LED headlights, rear camera.
I've got a similar situation and I'm wondering if the van is being held back until next month due to targets? I'm pretty sure my van is at the dealers as theres an identical van in some of the sales videos for used vans that have been advertised this week but the sales guy is saying it's not in still.yea had mine waiting at port for shipping, over 1 month so far, salesman is sayings because of weather the delay?
not sure if its bad weather or whether they can be bothered
I was told by the dealer that my van had a confirmed build week 8 too. Looks like mine actually happened though. Still can’t believe how lucky I’ve been. What build week we're you given? My van is virtually the same spec and has been stuck at status 20 since week 8!
Fingers crossed mine is finished today then before they lock the doors at the factory for a few weeks/months.I was told by the dealer that my van had a confirmed build week 8 too. Looks like mine actually happened though. Still can’t believe how lucky I’ve been.
I'm Brian and so's my wife!Sounds like you got my van.
Sorry about that. I’m not sure any of us can work out how VW are allocating build time to orders.Good news that. Sounds like you got my van.
Ha ha It’s such a similar spec to mine.Sorry about that. I’m not sure any of us can work out how VW are allocating build time to orders.
I had another call from the dealers today to say that my van has set sail from Emden. He expects to receive it in around a weeks time! Still a little bit in shock as to how quick it has all happened.I've got a similar situation and I'm wondering if the van is being held back until next month due to targets? That’s disappointing. When the factories open in a couple of weeks (this is info from customer services) we will still be on week 12 so you’re 8 weeks away. I was also week 12 so possibly the same.Just gone from week12 to week18. That will be 12months from order and fifth provisional build date.
Hopefully they will do just that. We could be in for a long wait otherwise.interestingly I just read an article that bmw have already got hold of machines to make their own wiring harnesses and as of next week will be back building vehicles as normal so hopefully the other manufacturers inc vw are on the same page
Congrats - hopefully it makes it through to the end of build without further delay.Just had update from Autoebid about van through Ashford. Order late July 2021, T30 150 DSG highline in bayleaf green. Had provisional build date of week 11, this moved to week 12 a few months ago.
Update now showing in build
I hope so!Congrats - hopefully it makes it through to the end of build without further delay.
Just as a matter of interest (given I ordered in late May through Autoebid, from the same dealer, and I haven't had any build dates at all), what factory options did you choose for your van?
Thanks @lauraj.I hope so!
Extras were: LED front & tail lights, nav, heated seats, washer fluid level, no builkhead, tailgate with window & wiper/washer/heated, captain seats both with swivel, power latching side door, rear view camera, 80L tank & carpet in cab.
