T6.1 new order delays

It’s a T6.1 kombi 110ps. I ordered end of May and was expecting to wait a year. However, some cancelled their van while i was signing the paper work so i snapped it up there and then. Very luck. I just need it to be built now
Would that be the 'leaky window'?
Well here is a random situation!
In March we ordered a replacement for our Caravelle Executive due for replacement in December. Which gave us 9 months for the vehicle to arrive.
Yesterday the dealer call to say it’s arrived! 3 month build, and it has to be registered by the end of August, or the order is cancelled. We will now have two executives available to rent from the end of this month!
Even more strange is we have a higher spec customer order, in the system from November last year, still not due till November this year!

Hi Oli, that is strange, I was told back in March that my Caravelle order from September had a flag on it that it had to be registered by end of August. Yet it did not have a provisional build date then and still does not have one when I last checked with the dealer on Friday. I got no explanation for the flag at all apart from emissions changing which seemed odd as that the end of last year. I am sure one day it will just appear to everyones surprise.

Ordered today for delivery in Nov/Dec
My order will be going in on Friday. Being told the same.
Ordered a T32 4motion dwg 204 kombi with tow hitch in Feb with an estimated eta of August. I knew that wasn’t going to happen, but was then told last week I had a provisional build week in December. I asked if I could change the spec from bench front to single yesterday to be told that the build week, whilst still unconfirmed, has come forward to August and if I make the change I go back to the bottom of the list. Bit miffed as I have no confidence it’s going to get built in August but can’t risk changing the spec just in case.
Similar spec to me apart from mines a PV and few more options, ordered mid March... My build week has bounced all over the place before dropping into thin air several weeks back (It came forward to this week ironically). I say im in no real hurry but it is frustrating not knowing. Be interesting to see who's turns up first.
Ordered my PV yest. Was told be ready end of year 100% but then I reminded them of my add on which was just a bigger fuel tank then they said oh that’ll be March then. Happy with that as my lease van goes back in April

Agreed - my Kombi is in pure grey and on order currently
So glad I went for pure grey now. Looks better than the indium I was thinking about having. That’s only my opinion though.
That's good to hear. Looking forward to getting my black edition sportline kombi which only comes in pure grey..

Agreed mate - I was all set for Indium Grey until I saw a Pure Grey version in the flesh, easy decision after that
Oh that’s good! So my Sportline which I’ve ordered in Pure Grey will look like a black edition after I Chuck coil overs on it and a few fake decals lol
