I’ve ordered a T30 150 DSG kombi last week and Sinclair vans Swansea told me I should expect early February

The dealers I have worked with would say at least April and September 2022 for a kombi. And that was a few weeks ago.

Yes - Martins of Basingstoke - I ordered mine last week with a delivery time of Nov/Dec and they had 4 vehs available to build and spec - good luck
Hi I have a new Pure Grey Kombi Manual 150 SWB coming in end of July but is way to early for me so not needed yet was wondering what people thought of a reasonable price to sell it for? Would only have delivery miles and all standard spec bar twin sliding doors, rear view camera, swivel heated captain front seats, 60/40 split seats in the back.

My van’s on the Assembly line as we speak. Dealer is still optimistic about end of July delivery. We’ll see

I ordered end of May but i was very lucky. I fully intended on waiting until May next year but when i went down to sign some paper work, a guy phoned and cancelled his van for July delivery and it was the same spec as mine. So i took i snapped it up there and then. Right place right time
I wouldn’t start to moan about how long you’re waiting for your van to be built on this thread then!
I was told that my order that was placed in December will now be a 2022 model and may not arrive until December this year. I wonder what changes , if any will be for 2022. Being told 4 Motion 199ps are on hold and dealers are not taking anymore orders until the back log is cleared. Has anyone been told of the up grades for 2022 on the LWB transporter?
I asked the question a few weeks ago, and got no responses on this forum. I was also in touch with my dealer a few days ago seeking information on my van as it was due to be built next week. I told him I was aware of the factory closure and the obvious knock on effect, but he said the bigger issue was now the move over to 2022 models for all orders not yet built, and that all orders were being re-assigned. He said he had no idea what that would mean, but probably not good.
What exactly happens when a build is re-assigned? I'm trying to get my head around how it all works?

What happens? Well as far as I can make out, the entire factory build slot and random and seemingly frequent built reassignment (for a variety of reasons, some plausible, others less so) is a dark art that mere mortals are not allowed to be privy to!
Did anyone notice the stories in the press this week about rising prices and such for vans? There were a few interviews with various people citing CV19, part supply issues, rising demand for vans etc, but I was hoping for a VW owner, or potential owner, to come on and mention the chaos with the T6.1 and Crafters. A good dose of bad press would push the factories to sort themselves out a bit.
Just been informed my 199 4m LWB pv has been given another unconfirmed build week of 35, end of August. Previous bw was last week in June which dissapeared…. So I guess reassigned……. Provisionally!
I’ve also been given build week 35 for my 199 4m LWB Kombi.. and told to expect delivery in late October. Probably just a coincidence.

Just had build week 52 (ish) confirmed for SWB 4M T32 Kombi. Dealer is saying between week 51 and 2 with 52 being the most likely. Reassures me the date will only get better as VW are bringing another factory back online to alleviate the delays? Deposit was paid mid June ish. I was braced for end of next year so late Feb/March seems way better if it actually happens. Not getting my hopes up just yet to be fair.
