T6 Fuse panel layout - Engine and Cabin

Newbie here... had the very same head scratcher recently, seen the post and thought I could help at last, after many months of read only....

As Dellmasive has shown, but just in case you have missed it.. from passenger door, lift up seat and remove the large plastic trim attached to the middle brace of the seat base (simply pulls off towards you, fuse should be there to the left hand side middle, 15amp (blue)

Nice One @Daveleannet6 . . . . . . =]

@3crispies is saying that he doesn't have a second leisure battery . . . . . .

so if thats the case the schematic above may shed some light on the situation.

this might be the bugger - Socket U33 (fuse SH31) might be your one if you haven't got the second battery.

I may have missed this but where is fuse SH31 in the vehicle ?

Pete

Other thing that came to mind was from a previous post when I had the issue which was a blown block fuse Sc40 20amp in the main fuse board by the gear stick?

Im baffled standard panel van all that is present is fusebox near gear stick and all test ok, under double seat its just connectors. Silly point read somewhere that disconnect battery to do reset. (will radio work after ?).

have no fuse there !! and cant seem to be able to fit one

Which is odd because I have a standard panel van, and it is there.
Could you take a picture that shows this lower section of the fuse box - your original one at the top of the thread doesn’t go that low.

Cheers,

Pete

Pete C & Loz come up with this on the link above:

quote: Answering this question has led me to reverse engineering all the fuses from the wiring diagram, which shows fuse 40(20A) can be used for the top 12V socket if you have no second battery.

3rd one up from the bottom right, Pete?

the blue 20Amp large fuse.

I believe so. I posted that photo of my van just for reference. I can’t say for sure that on my van that fuse is the one, but I’m going to find out tomorrow, just to satisfy my curiosity, and to see if it helps the OP.

Pete

@3crispies take another pic of your fuse box . . . . but lower down.. . .

showing the fuses under the pink and green box fuses at the bottom as shown in your picture
.

well that would tie up with the PDF Loz done above . . . .

though his pic showed a blank space . . but he hasnt got a panel van. - fuse 40(20A) can be used for the top 12V socket if you have no second battery

Correct as I don’t have the top socket.

That looks like a full set of (3) fuses below the pink one on the right (it looks white in the flash), which suggests you do have a fuse in slot SC40.
