No faults on that module...
I dont habe a Discovery Media. I have a China Radio
It was just an example (about 5F), to create the adaptation map use controller address 20 instead.

Thanks
I have to see if adaption map is available in obdeleven
Of course it's available in OBDeleven - under Adaptation. However, unfortunately here OBDeleven is very clumsy - they are available one by one - only 150 of them ;)
Attached a VCDS High Beam Assist adaptation map of LHD T6 (no NAV) with factory LED headlights.

I have a problem since the upgrade to led.
My high beam Assist is not working correct. Only the blue Light in the Dashboard is showing but the high beam is not tuning on from the Assist.
High beam with the Stick is working without a problem.

Same is discussed in the German Forum: Fernlicht defekt
1) Have you tried disconnecting starter battery for 15 mins to reset BCM?
2) Which lights (H4, H7) you had before?

Maybe a problem with Byte 18? My Byte 18 Coding is: HEX 73
I don't think so. 73 is for LEDs in front and rear.

Could you please post current full scan report.

Yes I did the coding in High Beam Assist but it is 20 at me...
The Coding is: 04 04 00 E2 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

The part number of the power modules: 7PP941571AE
Did you get your 7PP941571AE power modules brand new or refurbished?
Are they genuine OEM?
How much did you pay for each unit?

Probably not helping but you could monitor Low beam/High Beam status by using OBDeleven. Just to make sure they are consistent with what you have seen.
Central electrics > Live data > Channel 42:
Low beam --- inactive/active
Low beam -
High beam -
High beam -

They were used and from China (Aliexpress)
But I think they were genuine OEM...

Edit: one is from Aliexpress, the other from ebay. Both look like genuine OEM

Have you tried to disconnect PWM wires from your both headlamps(pin 14)?

Hi - I’m looking for the part numbers for the nut and bolt that attaches the front levelling sensor to the suspension arm.

It’s a torque to yield/stretch bolt that needs replacing when you fit the sensor.

Thanks in advance.

Good evening fellow LED retrofitters… I finally finished my install today after collecting parts over the last 9 months or so… everything seems to be working ok but having trouble coding the range control module (6R0 907 357 C).

I’m trying to apply the following coding - as advised earlier in this thread:

OFCE020001000000 (For RHD)

But get the following message in VCDS:

A0237EC7-2312-498F-B382-7241A10E2552.jpeg

If I try any of the above options, I then get this message:

B1FF440C-3311-4463-B19B-41F255561733.jpeg

It’s a used module bought on ebay hence the need to re-code it (not sure what vehicle it came from).

The lights do the levelling ‘sweep’ during ignition on - so the module is talking to the canbus - just can’t code it correctly.

Any ideas?

Thats a strange set of error codes
The first few relate to coding/setup but normally when you see 'open or short to plus' it would imply a wiring fault
As i supplied the loom for this (even though i do make the odd mistake) then its unlikely that both inputs and both outputs are wired incorrectly ?!?!?

I would suspect the module is the issue, if it comes from the wrong vehicle then it will have the wrong dataset/parametrization data on it
I did take one from somebody that was having issues with a second hand one and there was very little we could do with it, i could find no parameter file for one online to flash into it and even ODIS refused to deal with it and after a few hours of messing around it was abandoned as unsalvageable, it may be quicker and easier to buy a new module ?

Thanks for the info Pauly - I must admit, the open/short faults do seem strange?

But first things first, I think I need to buy a new RCM… this could be the route of all the issues, and the fact a few others in this thread have similar problems coding it/blank data sets etc, It increasingly looks like this is the one part to avoid buying 2nd hand.

@Robert seems like the exception, where he did manage to re-code a used RCM.

I will report back with my findings when I fit a replacement.

Thanks

Yeah mine was from eBay and was the one Pauly tried to fix but ended up chucking away!

Yeah it’s a shame mine will be joining yours in the bin, but I guess it comes with the territory when buying used parts.

To be fair - out of all the used parts I bought for my retrofit, I’m glad it’s the £23 RCM that’s not working and not one of the actual headlights!

I still have it !
It is getting closer to the bin though to be fair, next time I have a clear out it could be toast
