As requested @mmi, here's my adaptation scan for 09 Central Electrics, plus a latest VCDS Autoscan of all modules.
Thanks again for your time... the quest for fault free headlights continues!
Thanks - please change BCM adaptation channel 55 to "0"
09 - Cent. Electrics > Adaptation > Channel 55 (click Read) > New value > 0 (click Test to see the value is accepted) (click Save)
What is the significance of ‘Channel 55’? Is it related to the Range Control Module?
Or, is ‘Address 55’ (RCM) in the installation list, not related to ‘Channel 55’ in 09 Central Electric’s Adaptations?
Perfect - thanks for explaining that… I’ll try a ‘0’ in Adaptation Channel 55 when I get home this evening.Anyways, the reasoning to try the channel 55:
All the T6 adaptation maps I have with OEM LED headlights (6 pcs), all have value "0" in channel 55 - on the contrary, maps from T6 with H4/H7 headlights are set to "1"
Desperate times...close, but no cigar... the search continues...
Re the codings and adaptations:
There has been cases which actually have not been accepted by the BCM until battery had been disconnected for a few minutes...
I'm thinking more the earlier coding changes...Hmmm? I guess this could be the case… but I did seem to get a reaction from the adaptation change - i.e. the bulb warning light on dash, and conversely, the warning light switching off when I changed it back.
Yes, the thought has crossed my mind too… especially when trying to mirror the settings of other vehicles in the comparison chart you provided.I'm thinking more the earlier coding changes...
VCDS wouldn't let me do it, kept getting error codes, apparently because of wrong software on module??FRF and SGO are flash files.
Data sets are kept under ZDC(for VCP) or XML(for ODIS).
Parameterization is only a concern for the owner of a brand new "virgin" module.
Any second hand unit can be adjusted to match T6 via adaptation channels with VCDS as per below.
T6 OEM LED-headlight retrofit
i thinking about getting leds retrofitted , where i live there's no mot so thinking of skipping auto levelling , would this work ?www.t6forum.com
Please post module 55 section of VCDS Scan.
What's in the Advanced ID of the module?

In there is a parameter set - not a T6 though... (would be V03600097E0 Version: 0001)... but shouldn't matterDataset Number: v036000560D
Dataset Version: 0005
Mine is the same - the "B".* And I’ve just noticed looking through that that the hardware number is 6R0907357’B’
Is that the issue?
Set as shown above but I only got the one adpmap file.?Ahhh.... a flashback

T6 OEM LED-headlight retrofit
I bought my lights from TPS with motors (they don’t come with the LED driver modules 2 req for each headlight as you know if you have read through the thread with 14x fixing screws), for around that price. Avoid buying the driver modules from eBay UNLESS you can easily send them back as they...www.t6forum.com
Could you please record controller channel maps of the module - juat to verify the module communicates pretty much the same as T6.

The result files adpmap-xxxxxxx....CSV and blockpmap-xxxxxxx....CSV will be in folder C:\Ross-Tech\VCDS\Logs\....
May be far-fetched but updating VCDS to latest version 22.3.1 won't hurt - there was a bug fix to a certain coding hiccup.
Yes ticked "measuring values" and just did a search for the blockpmap file but I don't have one.Yes, another should be blockmap.... Did you tick the "Measuring values"?
Please copy the files here by using "Attach files" button below.
