Hi Paul, can I confirm the additional T6.1 camper who we discussed yesterday. At present, he has not formally joined the forum so I don't have a forum name just yet. It's a Dark grey SWB with pop top & awning. I have a reg No if you need it. I only ask because I cant see him on the list as yet.

One other question, will we need levellers at this venue?

Thanks

Not this time, too small an area in the circle.

70+ vans will be 70-300 ppl approx.

Plus fit pits...

We would end up burning the place down.

On a More serious note, croud control. Fire saftey, access to toilets etc..

The risk assessment says we need to be in the large open area and double the size.. for the disco tent and evening gatherings.

Me an @Tourershine will be there from wednesday to peg out the area to keep the main stage clear.

Yes that's fine and although the site is pretty level, it never hurts to bring your ramps anyway.

I've had a message from the site asking if we bring any of our own wood, to try and make sure there aren't any nails mixed into the wood.
They said there was a lot of nails from our pits last year, which is obviously not ideal on a grass site where they cannot be seen.

None of us want any puncture’s, so a bit of consideration for other site users…. and whoever’s got to cut the grass too!

Or a sieve for ash before it's tipped. Some nails you just can't pull once they're rusty. :-(

@Tourershine as we are not using the tree circle for the adults can we ask the campsite if they can set up the cinema in there for the kids? Just a thought. Would you like me to check?

With reference the wood, we have a kitty that's filling nicely with donations, so if you aren't sure if you have nails in the wood you are bringing, then just leave that out please.

It's me that gets it in the neck off the site if things like this happen, and I store my Motorhome their, so I see them on a pretty regular basis and don't want to make things awkward. Plus it's one of the rare sites in the country that will allow such a huge group of people to take over the site for a weekend, and I'd sooner keep on their good side.

Just confirmed that the cinema will be on, and it's in the cow barn because the screen can be seen much better and the sound is a lot better in there. Showings start at 6pm.

Also, they will have the Pizza van there and we can pre-order pizzas a week before, once they pass on the menu, I will stick it on here. There is also meant to be a Brisket and Bean stall attending this year on the Friday, so a little more choice.

How about buying a few of those mega magnets and scanning the area the next morning. I think the owners would appreciate that.
