CAMPSITE UPDATE
Fire pits are permitted but only in the cordoned area (Disco tent area) under no circumstances are open fires permitted outside this area ie outside your van or we will ALL be asked to vacate the site

Does that mean the bar-b too? and what about the pizza oven that sits on a table well above the ground? Need me pizza and me bacon. Just had two weeks in Europe with a severe lack of proper bacon!

Not a big fan of fires at campsites anyway....
.....but I don't get the threat to kick us ALL off if there is an incident. That's bad attitude IMHO.
Agree about fires.
Maybe Im being a bit too cynical and thinking they will look for the slightest excuse to kick the group off and hold the £50s.

Agree with Jon there. I think there's a cash trap going on.
@Base1388 I'm looking at an alternative to pizza, mate.

I'm gutted I can't have me pizza... Been looking forward to that all week.

  • Haha
Reactions: JOG
Apologies if I’ve missed this and there’s already been a post about it, but @Dellmassive does the pizza van need to know approximate numbers for Saturday night, or is just when they’re gone, they’re gone???

Washed and polished the van last night even left the pop top up to dry off and woke up this morning and it's pouring down

Oh well the copious amount of beer in the fridge is nicely chilled
I was smart, looked at the forecast and decided it wasn't worth bothering. Washing the van that is, not putting beer in the fridge. But then I don't have those wheels to show off ;)

I was smarter……..didn’t look at the forecast and washed the beer instead!
Nipped to the newsagents and bought a cheap newspaper so at least we’ll be bringing the “Sun” with us!
Looking forward to getting wet, covered in bites and not sleeping…….God, I wish the wife would give it a rest sometimes!!! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My van is covered in Swiss, French and German dead flies. Much better than all your common British dead flies so I'm leaving them on. Obviously, only the discerning user will recognise the difference and understand why they haven't been washed off and will know that it has absolutely nowt to do with the fact that I just haven't been arsed this week.

Can't you cook your pizza within the cordoned off area?
I've no idea. I will take the oven but not sure if I want to risk everyone's £50 cos I think that's on a hair trigger.
Any smokers? You can only smoke in the cordoned off area and must have a fire extinguisher available.
If you need to light the gas in your van, you will need to drive your van to the cordoned area to light the gas. Driving back with a lit stove is obviously perfectly safe... If you dare!
You can use a flint inside your van tho. Everyone has one of those!
