@Tourershine what size Tyres were they? Did you like the look?

The tyres on the front 8.5's were 235/35/20 and I think the rears on the 10" were the same, but with a pretty extreme stretch.
Obviously these sizes are more for the looks on the aired out 6.1 and would be totally impractical and frankly uncomfortable on anything that's a daily driver or camper. If they were on mine, i'd be looking at a 235/45/20 all round, a tyre i've already run on 20x10s and it looks great to me, but still not ideal. My guess is these wheels would need some careful research for a load rated, yet good looking tyre that actually fits under your arch.

I’ll let you do the tyre trial before I purchase a set then ;)

I think the 20's are probably too much for me, I think 19in in 8.5in all round would be the sweet spot for me IMO. Tempted to go that way but more than happy with my 18in TBH.

I really like the look of the Amarok style ones, but I'm not convinced by the smoothies yet. They don't have a deep enough dish effect for my tastes. I can see the Amarok style being a big seller. I think the only way you're going to run these with load rated tyres on vans running low is going to be with the Nankang 245/40/20 which is load rated to 103. AS-2+ is the model, but it's often out of stock due to quite high demand. I don't know any other tyre that's going to be small enough to work with very low vans that is load rated. Might even struggle with that size.

There will always be the hard-core banded fans like me, and therefore always a market for steel 17s, 18s and the 19" RRs.
I think the new steels will sell really well, and from the opinions I've seen on Instagram and here, its about 50/50 between both styles, but like you say, load rated tyres are not easy to find on the mega low stuff, but not too bad for the mild drops.

Not really banded steels, but an update on the new Navis steels to give people a better idea on how they are going to look.
These are the two versions in 20"
They aren't mine, THQ just asked if they could try them on mine with the big brakes, to make sure they didn't foul anything, which they didn't.

Did HQ give you any idea of what they will be priced at @Tourershine ?

Not for me, I’ll stick with

Not my cuppa tea

What tyres do you recommend? I got my wheels from duchy last week, in 8.5 and 9 and fitted 235/55r18. Its lowered 65mm on koni/h&r from crs. But my sliding doors touch on both sides and my fronts stick out pass the arches.
Im thinking that the higher profile is causing the tyres to bulge in the middle causing the problems, and been looking at either 235/45r18 or 225/50r18.

255 45 18

@N G Neer thats what I've seen but because mine already rub and stick out, my head thinks the extra width will cause more problems, or is the lower profile where I would get away with it..

@matt_r I think you're right. It's probably the profile that's causing a problem. I've already got a new set of 255/45 fitted to my alloys, so I'll swap them onto the steels and see how they fit. I'll let you know how it goes.
