Ah, sorry if this spoiled anything just I saw it on there Instagram.
Are they cast then?

Any idea on offsets? Don't think I'd get away with a 10in rear as my 9in only just clears side door.

Not at all. I was waiting for someone else to post something, so people don't just think i'm in cahoots with HQ.

On your clearance comment, i've been assured that these are designed and built for the Transporter and will fit all situations, although they'd confirm that if anyone put an order through.

What suspension have you got? My 9.5” rears when on H&R springs caught my carpet lined side door when opening, but since going to SoLows they have a bit more camber and tuck in more, zero rubbing now.

As Paul has said, they are designed to fit so will probably sit slightly different to a banded Amarok.

Yeah I did think that. Saying around £1000 a set as you say. Tempted, if I had £1000, which I don't.

that's why I stuck with 8,5 inch at the rear, the door cards of the california are thicker.
my idea was to maybe put a small spacer at the rear, depending on how much space there is left.

anyone got any ideas to maybe adjust the sliding door so it 'opens' more at the rear?

Pressed and welded I imagine

I’ve got a California on Bilsteins, with non banded Amaroks. My door just catches the rear of the tyre when fully opened. I’m running a 25mm spacer.

25mm spacer, should be about equal to my 8,5 inch banded amaroks

I hope, they clear, and afterwards that there is a way to adjust the sliding door so i can maybe add a 10mm spacer.

Aren't the Amaroks 8J before banding?

it’s just lightly brushing, it took me a while to realise as it’s only with the door fully open and touches back sidewall. I would have removed the spacers if it was more than that for fear of putting the door runner out of alignment over time

I'm running 9J ET35 but not banded steels - Cali door card clears the rear tyre when latched open, but it is pretty damn close.

Not really banded steels, but an update on the new Navis steels to give people a better idea on how they are going to look.
These are the two versions in 20"
They aren't mine, THQ just asked if they could try them on mine with the big brakes, to make sure they didn't foul anything, which they didn't.
