Tow Bar Bike Rack For My T6

Interested in how the factory fit spoiler is removed, seriously considering modifying it around my T5 bike rack that's yet to be fitted.

Any tips on how to remove and any details on how to modify the spoiler?

Need to be able to carry two std bikes. No tow bar yet. Can see benefits of both methods, ie door mounted rack and tow bar equivalent.
Thing that really bothering me about say Thule Wanderway/VW OEM is the 3M bodywork protector films. Do they really work or does tailgate paintwork get damaged?

Any experiences appreciated.....

i ended up making a wooden board with fork mounts , fitting seatbelt attachments and fitting it on back seat with front wheels removed , all very secure and keeps bikes inside for security. not ideal if you want to carry passengers or want to stop and utilise inside of van for a drivers break although they do come out very easy if required.
