Ok- I definitely have an issue with the driver side DLR on my THQ V2 headlights. It’s 50:50 whether or not it comes on with key insert/unlock and even the f it does initially come on it doesn’t always stay on. Any suggestions? Think I might call THQ and see if they can replace but a bit of a drag to have to take bumper off etc again..

If you’ve had bumper off before you know what’s involved, if it’s only one side you can loosen bolts and clips only on that side. Pull it off and sit it down on something about 3” below usual bumper position. You’ll need to take all grill clips off though. I did it in about 10 mins off and on and 5 mins to take headlight out and in.

I also had an issue with my drivers side drl. Under investigation i found it to be some loose wires that if i found the sweet spot it stayed on so cable tied it in that position and it was ok. While having some work done at thq i mentioned it to andy and he just replaced the headlight for me.

thanks- good to know it’s not just me being a numpty (probably) I’ll give them a call in the new year

Hi Guys,

After some help please?

I just received my H7 HIDS from Xenonbulbs, the Terminator Smart System kit.

Question: are the wires circled in red required as the instructions are not clear and I do not see anything on the van or headlight for them to connect to?

They plug into the existing terminal block that plugs into your original bulb at the moment.

And plug the double connecters together.

The 12V supply from your existing headlight goes to the ballast and the ballast feeds the HID bulb.

I was getting confused with my old custom T4 twin headlight setup and the plugs I used for those.

So just to confirm....

Darn, just connected up and lost the dip beams all together, high still works as does the drl.

I connected the Black wire from the hid to the to black of the headlight supply, then and blue to red

Guessing its a fuse but I cant find it.

My van is a 2016 Euro 5 highline, 102PS.
Any ideas as I am now at a total loss and without night transport, HHHEEELLLLPPPP
