Victron (#TeamBlue) Advanced Systems + VRM - How We Done It -

Finally all back together. Flat starter battery this morning which was a bit worrying. Seems OK now. Thanks @Dellmassive for the phone tech support. There's LOADS of settings. One thing I will say make sure you get the pin numbers off each module. I didn't and had to reverse a LOT of the way before I could get it working.

Well done Matt!
I got warnings with my SB too, the AMT12-2 had been unconnected for 3 days and the Cerbo and screen had sucked its powers away! A good drive and the LB back over 13v put things right!
I'm surprised our Paul hasn't been along to say 'why don't you update the UI to the pretty one!
Certainly worth doing!
Ruuvi's next!

I've done a write un on the VRM + ROAMER battery integration . . .

CAN cable from battery to CERBO - job done, no shunt needed.

.
Can you add me to your list please @Dellmassive ? Following this with interest. Cheers

Pleasing that the Cerbo inbuilt wifi is behaving itself, it doesnt get the best of reviews. I'm struggling with getting my Tenda router to 'be seen'. Much switching off and on and rebooting required.

sure, what setup have you got?

drop some VRM screen shots and system setup below.
Cerbo GX (no screen)
Older model “normal” Roamer 160ah LiFePo battery on its side under the driver seat
Victron Smartshunt (with temp sensor)
Victron 30amp IP22 230V charger (under bonnet connection)
Victron Orion B2B charger
Ablemail AMT12-12 connected to B2B charger
Victron MPPT (200w solid panel off the van for winter)
12v immersion heater for hot water set up via high amp relay on the “Genset” Cerbo GX settings per instructions on here
Ruuvi tags in/outside vehicle and in fridge (recently realised in this sunny weather the black external Ruuvi tag mounted to the roof prep channel with T-bolts is in full sun so not accurate, need a shaded mounting point)
Vitrifrigo top load fridge
Wallas XC duo diesel hob/heater
Edit: fresh water tank level monitor on Cerbo GX too
Edit2: Teltonika RUT-## 4G router (dual SIM, one of which is an "Anywhere SIM" for failover).
Edit3: GPS USB dongle (that doesn't seem to work, or at least when i download .gpx the tracks are vastly incomplete)

I think that’s it for electric setup. Thinking about upgrading to an Orion XS for monitoring integration, also thinking about upgrading to a Victron inverter/charger for integration and so I can run a small induction hob (the Wallas XC pumps out a LOT of heat so is not very practical for warm weather!).

That's why I did away with the WiFi and just hard wired it with ethernet!
Same here.
As a general comment the geek-out potential of the VRM seems almost limitless...
I am interested in your Ablemail AMT12-12 setup with the MPPT load output, but don't think I can be bothered disassembling the seat to mod this!
Not being able to "see" the feeds from the shore power and B2B is annoying, almost enough to shed £00's more on upgrades...

My Tenda is ethernetted/hardwired, I think it's just shy or something.
Following last months issue with the wife's Peloton stealing the monthly data in half a day I now have a full tank of data again.
No days off recently to play, Fridays the day.

I thought it was about time i added the other RUUVI temp sensors, to the Cerbo GX-S in the Bus,

now one stuck to the LB,

one for Outside temp

one for Inside Temp.

its super easy to add devices now with the New GUI, . . . .

How do you get this Ruuvi display? I don't see that. Is it an Android vs iOS thing? Can't see how to get it on the web VRM either.

If you like data, VRM is a geeks paradise!!

Obviously it's primarily designed for home set ups and for the installers to be able to remotely manage the systems. Our vans are only making use of a tiny bit of the potential.
