Welcome new members

Hi all
Here's Poppy ( unoriginal I know!)
Bought last year after selling our T25. Less character but a ) starts, b) keeps going, c ) better suspension. Though i will ask a question on the wheels forum as 20" wheels are just too much i think.
T6 Camper King conversion from 2018, only 6k miles when we bought it.
We like!

Hi everyone!
Having just sold our 2004 T5 which we built from a beat up panel van and loved dearly, we've now moved up the ladder to a T6!
Here's Elvis IMG_20210409_185824.jpg
Will be keeping my eye on some threads on here for help with alloys and also fitting a projector inside. Other than that, we love him just as he is we very much love the van life and can't wait for more adventures!

Elvis rocks and so does the colour of this T6, Gratz

Hi,
I've finally stopped talking about getting a T6 and bought one before my kids get to old.The only spec I was wanting was a tailgate and air conditioning.
I found a TSI (maybe a mistake getting a petrol), T32 Kombi Highline, twin slider, comfort dash and carpeted cab.
I've got loads of ideas but funds and mainly the Mrs is holding me back.
Let the journey and adventures begin :cool:IMG_7266.JPEG

Good morning all. Not new to this camper van lark but new to this forum. Hello from Graham, Lynn and Lola the dog. Wh have been owners for 9 years of a T5 Leisuredrive Crusader. Tomorrow it’s all change to a T6 Westfalia CCJ. Looking forward to new adventures...

Hi all, Just purchased a Caravelle pick up in the next week or so just waiting on the dealership to fit some accessories.
All the rear seats will be removed as I will be using the van for work and it fits my sports gear in the back for weekends.
Some have questioned my choice of van. A Crew van once I added some extras ,colour coded bumpers, armrests and wheels came in at around the same price as the Caravelle
at my local dealership who did a great deal on the Cara' .

Well, this is a thing I never thought I'd be doing. After 2 forays into campervanning we swore we'd never do it again. In the late seventies we hired a VW Combi and went wild camping in Scotland. The roof leaked & I had to sit on the bed & catch the drips in a frying pan as we drove along in 6 days of constant rain. 30 years on we hired a small motorhome for a week, to tour Wales. In Amroth we were deluged by a massive wave on the waterfront. The day after that I tried to empty the toilet cassette in a public toilet in a car park. Having had no experience of this I lifted it out & turned it the wrong way, covering myself in a deluge of poo which even filled my shoes. My husband wouldn't let me back in the motorhome & I've never been so glad of the Welsh rain.
Next week we take delivery of our 1st and very own campervan. Will it be a triumph of hope over experience, or a new and exciting chapter in our lives? That's probably a conversation to have with the Porta Potti.

Hey welcome and Gratz on the T6, look forward to seeing some pics

‘Ello. Been driving my T6 ‘Velle biturbo exec for a couple of weeks and I love it. Feel like king of the road, and mostly prefer it over my *cough* beamer. Thinking about dropping it a little and adding side bars. The forum has been really useful on learning about that stuff, so thanks.

Hi all, new member here!
Finally took the plunge and bought my first van recently - actually a T5.1 4Motion (don't kick me out!) but wanted to join here to hopefully benefit from the collective wisdom of other members. Been driving around in various family wagons for the last few years but the opportunity arose to get a van and we took it.

It came as a good-looking but fairly low-spec 4motion so will be looking to update things as we plan on keeping the van for a few years.... Thanks all!

Hi all,

Joined up as we are beginning our search for a Caravelle as our go-anywhere-do-anything family wagon.

We are in the market for a T6 4motion, which fairly limits availability, as we also want a fair few options - LED headlights being a must.

Forum looks like a fantastic resource so will be making good use of it and we’ll no doubt have lots of q’s before and after.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum. As you may have seen, prices are high at the moment, but the van you want will be out there somewhere.

Pete
