Welcome new members

Everyone to their own when it comes to conversions but you have to weigh up the cost of the van & conversion compared to the cost of a Cali ocean, not sure there is a lot of difference if your buying off a converter new

Hi all, great forum . Just mulling over getting either a caravelle or a transporter (with the £10k difference in price put into some mods). Needs to be a daily family car (2 kids) and occasional camper. Getting loads of good advice and solutions on here.

We bought our t6 just over a month ago, white shuttle 2016 lwb. We paid 19,300 no vat for it but it had a little bodywork damage which Arnold Clark told us would cost £450 to fix, we got a quote which came back at just under £2000 for bodywork repairs and our hearts sank. Long story cut short we contacted the dealer and they promised to have all the body work like new for the 450 they said it would cost to fix. We get the van back tomorrow and I feel like a 8yr old boy on Christmas Eve. So we have got a 2016 shuttle 32,000 miles in perfect condition for 19,750 no vat, to me this sounds like a great price, what do others think?

The main thing here is your happy and you are obviously looking forward to your new purchase , enjoy and get lots of mods and make it your own ! LWB perfect .

Hello to all, first post here. My T6 arrived at the converters yesterday, so it's about to become a reality. I had a trusty T5 camper for nine years, so the camper side of things isn't new to me, but the T6 is radically different to its predecessor, so I have a lot to learn.

Yes. Previous van was a high-top, but over the years as I learnt more, I realised I didn't need it, so this time its a pop top, rear elevating as I'm having a rear kitchen/washroom, also having gone off the idea of rock and roll beds and side units.

Pop top is a bit easier on the eyes than a high top :). Good luck and post a couple pics on completion.

Certainly is, no more kids asking to buy an ice-cream either! Still a while to wait, as it doesn't go into the workshops until end of Oct. and then a further 6 weeks being done. Having a heater this time, so might go away at Xmas for a few days.
