Welcome new members

Just a quick hello, back in a Transporter after a 18 month foray in a Euro 6 Transit Custom. Worst van I have ever had and cost a small fortune to get out of it. Nice to be back in a biturbo van that just goes when you put your down.

Well played @Barrie C . Welcome back to the fold.

Hi All,

Great forum and looking forward to becoming part of the community!
Been a VW and Skoda driver for as long as I can remember but just bought myself a 2015 T6 Caravelle Executive love it but have plans already :)

Morning folks.. I’m picking my T6 up next week after spending the last 12 months dithering about what I wanted  I’ve owned a 2004 T5 for the last 5 years.

Ex dealership 204 DSG Highline Kombi with LED’s, heated seats and comfort dash. Chuffed

Hello everyone, I have just arrived after about 45 years of wanting to own a VW campervan I will finally do so when I collect mine next Wednesday. Not new to motor homing - had a variety over the last 20 years from a 32' RV through panel vans, coach built and just sold a Hymer A-Class. But finally arrived at where I wanted to be all those years ago. Looking forward to it and the benefit of the collective knowledge of forum members when/if I need it in the future.

Hello Chaps, So I owned a T5 4 years ago, I put 110k on it without any problems and I loved it. Unfortunately I had to sell it as I needed a bigger van for work. “Buy a crafter” I thought.....After 2 years of constant problems I admitted defeat and swapped it for a sprinter. The Sprinter has been fantastic and apart from a clutch faultless, but I now find myself in a position whereby I really could do with a smaller van, that’s euro 6, has seats for the kids and can handle a bit of wet grass/rough stuff. I almost went for an Amarok but after some deliberation I've opted for a T6 4Motion Kombi. I’ve had a quick look for one with a DSG box but it seems they’re pretty thin on the ground. I’ve fitted rear seats and windows in a T5 before but I’d rather get a factory one if I can. Anyway just saying hello, and tha any and all advice I get will be greatly appreciated.

Jim
