Maps!!

I love maps. They don't publish these anymore, but you can still get new copies. 2014 and 2016 so roads should be just about up to date. Used for holiday planning and overview navigation in conjunction with satnav.

Back in the day ..Nothing better than finding the nearest beauty spot and going for a Sunday drive via your road atlas .........Sat nav’s are too clinical ....Now it just list places that for some reason people flash car lights and open doors ...don’t get it

I went to @Niknak and @Texxaco for guidance on that one! @Niknak has a big one that blows all over the place but @Texxaco has a small one that he can use with one hand. I quite like something with GPS.

It's a T5.1
Very eady to adapt, I just nicked the corner edge off with a hacksaw, made a neat job
Some have used Dremmel's but it's easily do able without one

So, fitted the 5.1 battery cover today (following @Superowls advice how to mod it - thanks!).

Great fit, but the screw nearest the wing has nothing to fix into, just a hole...

Did anyone else encounter this, or have I lost something?!!

What do I need to get?

Thanks.

Andy

Mine is the same mate, nothing to screw to
I was going to start stripping the front end down.....but fought off my OCD and left it as is

I used a spare plastic riv nut from the floor of my defender pushed it into the hole on the slam panel and screwed into that

After giving the sales pitch to the wife, she relented and agree to buying one of these:

Hopefully getting it fitted end of May. My choice for the time frame as it fits in with other thing happening then!

Also bought the door card mats from Rugs for Bugs. £13 delivered. Really well made and rubber backed so they don’t slip. They sent two sets by mistake, not complaining.
