Well, they arrived 9 days later.
The instructions are in German and refer to a BMW E38 (7 series)... but they fit fine, using the existing wheelarch plastic cover mounts.

Got my Bilstein B14's delivered today almost missed the delivery driver but he blocked me in on my driveway as I was just about to leave.

....well not exactly today, but couple of months back whilst my van was in DVS for conversion, I bought some stainless bumper grill trims. We have now taken delivery of the van and yesterday i thought I would add the “bling “that had been carefully stored in the man cave .... first pic = what I bought & the second pic =my style of van ....... it has confirmed my wife’s opinion that I really am an idiot !

Van-X have released their own version of the Sportline splitter that they say is slimmer than the original. That’s always been mine - and most others’ - gripe with the VW offering. Too wide and too chunky.



I’ve ordered one today. Will be interesting to see if I like it once it’s on!

And if I do, my ABT splitter will be up for sale..

Yep, Harvey has gone in to get his full conversion today and I am so excited. Should be ready by the end of November (hopefully before).

Bit like xmas today, was a few parcels left in the garage yesterday, going to be a busy few weekends ahead. So far we have

Caravelle table
2 individual captains seats for the rear
VW logo puddle lights
Caravelle sliding door cards and blinds for both side
All Black front door cards with nice shiney door handles

Last 2 are courtesy of the crew from Poland that advertise stuff on ebay, have to say very pleased with what has arrived and it was here within a week, also did a good deal on combined postage. Been wanting to do this mod for ages and with Brexit looming decided if it was happening best to buy them now.

Just need to source caravelle rails now........

Not today but last Friday, I got some rather nice side step and door pocket carpets from Rugs for Bugs. My route to and from the NEC show almost took me past their front door in Worcester so I thought I'd drop in on them as I wanted to check the colour match for our current main cab carpet against their swatch book. Having selected the colour, they actually made up the carpets there and then (using a better quality material than standard) and even offered a cuppa while we were waiting for them to make them. Top notch service and genuinely nice people as well. 5 stars all round.

How are the wires from the panel fed into the van. Pics would be great please
