Nice.
Although as I scrolled past it too quick I thought it was a subwoofer at first! Muppet!
Nice.

Me too. I remember when they were first advertising them here in the UK and offered a discount to early adopters.Watching with interest
Had mine MOT’d at VWVC with not quite legally spaced plates and they said nothing, nor did my local MoT place last year. Some standard road legal/mot compliant number plates (usually run short ones as my reg is only 5 digits) as it’s going into VW on Friday for MOT and minor service under All-in plan.
Booked a while you wait appointment at 8am and apparently it will be 3 hours - am going to try and get a test drive in an ID Buzz while I wait. Not because I can afford one or am unhappy with my T6, mainly because I’ve never driven an all electric vehicle (other than the Unigate 3 wheeled milk float I used to sometimes drive round the cul de sacs when helping the milkman on a Saturday at the age of 14 in the late 80s ).
Might be a similar experience..other than the Unigate 3 wheeled milk float I used to sometimes drive round the cul de sacs
7 weeks since I collected mine new and I’m still noticing little things that I didn’t pick up on my inspection and I’m a perfectionist; the excitement got the better of me.Collecting it next Saturday (May 6).
Did my purchases give it away?
It was worth the drive, looks spot on. Like the cushions I drove from Newcastle on the day 4.30am start! Worth it for the end result and service.Following @SAF1981 post on the RIB bed conversion and seeing how much more versatile they are compared to a RNR bed I called up A1 Campers and had one fitted the next day.
I did have to drive from Winchester to Oundle but I couldn’t be more happier - both with the seat/bed, the service that Andrew, his wife and Chris showed me whilst I was there, the price (compared to other options) and of course the NEXT DAY fitting.
With two small dogs this has really opened up the badly needed extra space and I even managed to refit the front fascia board to the new bed. Not worried about fitting the back as it will be full of ‘stuff’. I did keep the plywood panels A1 Campers removed just in case.
And yes it‘s another CK conversion.

Excitement getting the better of me and me missing any faults/ snags is what concerns me too., especially as we'll have a 4.5 hour journey immediately before and after collection. I can envisage that an early-morning start plus my eagerness to hit the road will impede my ability to look over everything with a fine-tooth comb.7 weeks since I collected mine new and I’m still noticing little things that I didn’t pick up on my inspection and I’m a perfectionist; the excitement got the better of me.
So far, in order of finding them; a small scratch which looks to have been done with a drill bit when fitting the mains EHU, interior stickers put on wonky, slight leak from fresh water tank service cap, little bubbles in external vinyl decals, I keep finding the odd bit of metal contamination in paintwork (reminds me that I must use some fallout remover and sort that properly), a couple of little scuffs on the dash and also the front of my multi-rail has started peeling off.
I suppose it’s inevitable from all the conversion work and I’m gradually remedying things, but it does niggle.
I’ve also had my first stone chip, right up on the pop top wind deflector and I’ve managed to very slightly scuff my wing mirror reversing into the garage. That one really hurt because it was my fault. Arghh!!!!
Oh and I also have the same pedal lock as you; first thing to go on whenever I leave the van. Good peace of mind.
@Bav Yes, loving the van 100%. We had a 3hr journey each way and decided to stay over the night before.Excitement getting the better of me and me missing any faults/ snags is what concerns me too., especially as we'll have a 4.5 hour journey immediately before and after collection. Despite your issues, hopefully you are you still enjoying your van. I know that, as collection day approaches, my excitement is rising by the day.
You may have the tire pressure sensors in your old valves. Or tap the "standard" button Generally you just need to press the tyre pressure reset button/option. It will ask you to confirm they're correctly set and will then clear at new tyre pressureHi all only a small challenge sure the forum can help
2021 t6.1 transporter just had fitted new 18” wheels and tyres in place of my Clayton’s
Now I have the tyre warning light come on the dash
I know I need to reset the tyre type and also re set the tyre pressure
But it doesn’t want to and I don’t see a set button on my radio screen
I don’t see any pressure readings and so not sure what’s next
Do I need to travel further with my new wheels before it registered?
Any help would be welcome cheers
Also got me a chopping board for the cooker and sink
Fitted extra trim to the barn doors prevent drafts perfect
Plus wheel nut covers .. sometimes the simple things View attachment 197579View attachment 197581View attachment 197580
