What Have You Bought Today?

It was post #5 by Pauly on this thread that’s made me think that
Thanks for confirming. I think it will be ok, the one in the ad has 3 prongs at 10, 2 and 6 o' clock whereas the Transporter wheel has prongs at 9 and 3. I'll update one of the threads at some point to confirm when I've fitted.

Don't think we haven't noticed you've changed your avatar picture Flash! I miss the puppy!

Not all today, but over the last few days:

Swivel seat adapter plate
Rusty Lee swivel
Rear speaker pods
Rear speakers
Amp wiring kit
Radio wiring harness adapter
HID light kit

That lot should keep me busy for a while. I've dug out my old 12 Vibe sub and amp I've had for 20 years! Going to wire it in and see how it sounds! Big bass incoming! Just need to find somewhere to put it!

£45 for these Led fog light bulbs, and a £90 something layout for the T6F bash at Bala! When will it end!!! That's it until tomorrow when the Mrs will pay for the T6F Spring Camp at Rural Relapsing... and relapse.....

Haha. I will try avoid that.
took a pic of the reverse lights on my THQ led rear lights and they are quite impressive and I dare say a lot more effective than the originals. They are LEDs also so can’t be changed anyway.
I couldn’t find the thread we were talking about the reverse lights on so here’s a pic here.

What rear speakers and pods did you buy @tommy_t6.1 ?

I am amazed at the level of bass I am getting from the two 10” subs I have installed in the rear wheelarch enclosures from @Eclipse Custom Vans  It is called constructive interference as they fire at each other and it amplifies the sound wave.

I believe he is also doing a 12” version.

Just some rear speaker pods that mount to the roof, they were from Skipton car radio. And just some cheapish Pioneer speakers. I'm not massively into music so not fussed about all out quality, just need some volume in the back of the van!

I'd love to see a picture of those Tommy, I spend my days in the music trade listening to customers trying to kill guitars and pianos every minute of every day, last thing I want in the van is music! But there are family members who do want music in the back! Cheapish and visually pleasant is what I'm after, top dollar, no!

You have my sympathy re customers - it was bad enough when my youngest was incessantly practicing Smoke on the Water. Great taste in music, but p!ss-poor execution!!

A great little dash cam, reviews where positive enough to warrant purchase. This will be ace for our Italy road trip in May. All from Amazon.

@Tony Abbott. Good choice - I've got the same in the back of my van and reckon the picture quality for both video and stills is better than the much more expensive Kenwood camera that records the front (but that does have the advantage of integrating with my Kenwood head unit).
