I was very careful with a Stanley knife and only cut myself once.. tw4t!And some new toys to help with fitting all the above. A ratchet crimper (insulated jaws but comes with 5x spares for other crimps), cable stripper's, and a big honking set of crimpers for the 10mm² and above cable.

The only thing I'm missing is a way to cut/strip big cables like 25mm² or 35mm² stuff.
Yeah I was thinking that would be ok for stripping it but I'm not sure any of my cutters are up to the job!I was very careful with a Stanley knife and only cut myself once.. tw4t!
I found using a hacksaw best to cut my 35mm2 cable. I had cutters but it was bloody hard work and they didn’t cut flat enough for my liking.Yeah I was thinking that would be ok for stripping it but I'm not sure any of my cutters are up to the job!
A set of big 10" cutters are only about £10 it seems anyway.
Add some heatshrink to cover over the crimp. I used adhesive lined.I was looking at buying pre made cables for the main large ones but after pricing it up I'll make them myself.
For eg £22 for a 35mm² cable with 2x ring terminals, anything up to 1m long (10cm long is still £22).
1m of 35mm² cable is £17. Terminals are £1 or so each. And 1m of cable will probably do most of my cable runs under the seat base!
Yeah I'll be doing that on all my crimps, just need to buy a pack of a load (I've got some non adhesive stuff left over from tidying MTB cables). Is it sacrilege to use black heat shrink on red positive cables?Add some heatshrink to cover over the crimp. I used adhesive lined.
YES. My OCD would have a hissy fit....Is it sacrilege to use black heat shrink on red positive cables?
If you have a little 4.5" grinder to hand they're very good. One of those super thin 1mm metal cutting blades - makes a really neat job.Yeah I was thinking that would be ok for stripping it but I'm not sure any of my cutters are up to the job!

Some upgraded speakers for my doors, to replace the upgraded speakers I have in my doors, that were an upgrade from OEM toilet paper speakers.
If only I’d stop buying things, and then rebuying them I might be able to retire
