You live and learnWe bought a blow up gazebo instead of a drive away this time , can put it up on my own in just a few minutes and dont have to park next to it or try to reattach it if we've been out
Those bigguns are great for an extended stay, we've just bought a new air clip on job for our weekends away and the fiamma when weather is 'guaranteed'!You live and learn
@Dellmassive - Lee. Was it the 3mtr version you bought?we have the pole version . . . same as @czmate1999
its great for short stays that dont need the whole extra room thing.
We've only done the one night here, in Skipton, as a practice run for a trip to Devon in July. Wanted to have a bash before being miles away from home. Those bigguns are great for an extended stay, we've just bought a new air clip on job for our weekends away and the fiamma when weather is 'guaranteed'!
I watched the YouTube video on this only yesterday. The way he cooked the egg was criminal, but the bbq is on my ever growing list. One of THQs new BBQ/firepits
It is basically bits of flat metal plates that slot together.
I’ve got to say I’m super impressed with it.
It stores flat in a bag so takes up literally no room to store. Takes seconds to assemble. Just put one of those paper bags with the charcoal in it. I got 4 bags for £10.50. Light it. Then by the time you have prepared your food it’s good to go. Cooks well. Then once you’ve eaten remove the grill and put firewood on it for a nice fire.
It was really easy to clean. I just emptied the ash into a bag to bin it then used a bbq brush/scraper.
I usually take a small gas bbq away but this is miles easier to store and no gas bottle.
It’s not particularly cheap for what is essentially bits of sheet metal. I was £165 including the bag and delivery. But I suppose you are paying for idea as much as anything. It is super sturdy and very well designed. Overall I think it’s fantastic and would recommend it.

Same as ours, I “can” put it up in about 10 minutes, but then spend a considerable amount of time adjusting this, moving that, tightening up here and so onFirst time putting the awning up. Hooraaa, took about 40minutes the YouTube video reckoned 8 minutes…..
