What Have You Bought Today?

Don’t discount the Continental All Season Contacts. I have both and the Contis are better in the wet by a reasonable margin with better traction and pure grip. The CCs are marginally better in snow when new.
Michelin runs a cash back action at the moment. I wanted the Conti initially but in the end it was nearly £200 cheaper to go with Michelin.

Dashcams in France are fine, although they have laws and regs about how the footage is used. Don't plaster it all over Facebook or the like, and I'm sure you wouldnt, and you're golden.
Thanks for all the comments regarding dashcams, looks like I should be ok in France then as I won't have anything to do with Facebook or related companies.

Where did you get the in door mats from? Would you recommend?
All from Fat Bob’s
Can’t really give you a recommendation after 6minutes of use but they look good/ robust and fit snug in the pockets. My steering wheel lock is not rattling anymore which is a huge plus for me.

No full price £1032 I missed the deal by 20 days as my other ran out 30 September and the deal ended 10th Sept and VW wouldn’t budge and wouldn’t let me buy the all in until mine ran out.
Bugger!

Did you consider cancelling your current plan early in order to take out a discounted new plan or was that a no go?

Oh No ! I had this exact situation but VW were more than happy to let me cancel my old plan before 10th and restart a new one at the discounted rate. I think someone on here previously suggested it.

This as some p***k has knocked my mirror off. Going on the channel tunnel early tomorrow morning so I think I'm going to have to bodge it with a load of tape till we get back.

Any tips on a temporary fix other than some really strong tape?

You could try to stabilise the joint by sacrificing a piece of hoover pipe (or other suitable rigid plastic pipe), cut a longitudinal slit in it for the wires and then use it to bridge between the van and the mirror. Then shed loads of tape.

So after getting my first t6.1, I have realised the audio needs improvements….

So today I had my first batch of deliveries -

Next stage will be firing up the CNC to cut my custom underseat boxes.

Designing my upper rear pod mounts for the component speaker now and will happily share files for 3d print.
