What Have You Bought Today?

Hi, I've just purchased a Cadac 2 cook 3 Pro Deluxe, and in all the pictures it clearly shows the cooker connected to a 90 degree quick release gas connector however on unboxing the cooker this isn't the case it comes with a straight connection, so not to pleased I thought I would go online and order a 90 degree only to realise this has a threaded female brass connection to screw onto the cadac, but the cadac 2 cook 3 doesn't have the male thread as shown in there photos and to add insult to injury i just found a small snippet online saying the 90 degree connection is not compatible so what's going on

We have a straight connection, quick release job. It works, wife is happy, so am I. Not a major issue. 90 degree wasn't an issue in our case.

So why advertise it as such if it is not compatible false statement and misleading
I must admit to not even seeing a 90 degree connection, I was only concerned about the windbreaks, having used it without! The windbreaks work perfectly, the 90 degree connection really isn't a 'thing' for our use case.

Don't get me wrong Wayne, the cooker is everything we want and the way it all packs away so neatly and very compact but would have preferred the gas hose exiting backwards over the back of our table rather than out the side then bending round that's all.

Surely there's a 90 degreer out there!

They all have the threaded connection on them and even though the latest picture shows the threaded connection it's just a straight push male coming out the stove bit baffled to be honest, I see your based in Aldridge not that far from me I'm based near Burton on Trent Wayne

Ahh yeah they've changed the design. Looks to be a cost saving thing tbh, no extra (fairly chunky) brass part needed.

The 90 degrees is crucial for my set yo tbh, I wouldn't have room for a straight hose...
