What Have You Bought Today?

Not bought today, but arrived today.

The new wheel for my van I bought from a German seller. Same size and thickness as a standard wheel, but much nicer and perforated leather on the sides, alcantara top and bottom and silver stitching to match the rest of my interior. Fitted photos to follow.

Also picked up a black switch surround / frame to go with it - but not sure I’ll use it yet.

Front splitter and trapezoid sidebars from Vanstyle.

Had the van almost a year now and have resisted the urge to spend on frivolous aesthetics, but hanging around this forum has only excerbated the need to scratch that itch . Also helped that we just had a quote for a kitchen makeover; SWMBO nearly had a duck egg, and decided that the kitchen is just fine as it is, thereby making it easier to convince that frivolous aesthetics are, in fact, worthwhile. I also came across this:

generally when discussing purchases on this forum or at any meet up when SWMBO (sometimes called / also known as: the chief accountant) is in earshot, the -50% rule must be applied.
This rule can be increased to -75% if the need arises, but to be used sparingly so as not to arouse suspicion.
This discount allows your purchases to be discussed in front of the SWMBO'S at a purchase rate more acceptable / agreeable to our better halfs.
A Forum discount can also be verbally applied, enabling most purchases to be £20.00
This amount is usually deemed as acceptable without prior approval.

On that basis:-
Sidebars: £20
Splitter: £20
Fitting at local bodyshop: £20

Everyone's happy :waving:

These seat covers turned up today ,yes I know they’re Sportline but didn’t have the logo on the pics of them on eBay :-( but I can live with that as they’re really comfortable not surprising they’re really cold so hope the backs will go back into shape when they warm up IMG_0389.jpegIMG_0388.jpeg

Have you got the sellers details please? That's literally exactly how I want mine!

Just bear in mind you’ll have import duty on the price of this as well, but I still thought price was good compared to others I’ve seen and - more importantly for me, keeps the standard thickness on the rim.

Hope that helps.
