What Have You Bought Today?

Mudflaps.... Don't like mud up the sides of the van!

Here soon... Fitted at some point when i can and it's not pissing down!

Can I ask, how you keep it secure when pitched up on a campsite? I've wanted to go this route myself to hold the awning etc. But was worried, someone can take it easy enough.
Hi @evans1089 .....Security...the hitch it’s self has a lock on the handle and I’ve also got a hitch lock cover 7167D394-65D3-426A-A305-1105A1C3862C.jpeg
in addition I’m also using a small wheel clamp...but really it’s about different levels of security depending where you camp...but I’ve tried to make the trailer stand out to deter any idiots...but lots of good camp sites have barriers and codes to get in ...luckily the trailer is parked in back garden ( forgot to add all the rear panels and top are key locked as well ) ...I’ve picked up a lot of tips from the caravan community....hope that helps

Wasn't expecting it being that much!
I could make one for less.
Do look great trailers though.
Quality and functionality are not cheap.( you own a VW ) I’ve not got a pop top so all my gear/bikes will go on the trailer and leaves more space in the van ...tried to buy cheaper versions but all have Pro’s and Con’s...Happy hunting :)

Try these guys Big Bear Outdoor ...it was not cheap (basic unit 2.3k ) but all Depends on what you want to carry in it
Horses for courses! You spend good money on a good trailer that meets your needs. A pop-top alone on a van will cost £3k easily. It’s all about priorities. As a general purpose trailer, it may be at the higher end of the scale. As a trailer for a purpose, it is definitely at the lower end of the scale!!!

Let me know how long they last - I have one of the fibreglass tanks you fill up with DI resin. Usually lasts 6 months per fill.
The packaging says the longevity depends on the hardness of your water and how often you wash your van. Our water is medium hardness so supposedly it will last for 39 washes.

So in my case it will last forever!

Just ordered one of these from Germany before Brexit pushes up the prices. 20% cheaper than buying in the UK even with delivery...

Locking spare wheel bolt & security device to stop the scumbags getting mole grips on it......& a spare wheel to replace the one they nicked

That's £100 I could've done without the week before xmas.........would happily pay double that for 10mins in a locked room with whoever nicked it
