Nice one - £50 in your pocket is better than £50 in theirs!May not have my van yet, but doesn’t stop me stocking up on all the stuff I need/want.
So as GoOutdoors were good enough to drop the price on an awning I’ve had my eye on for a while, seemed rude not to buy one. They have a Vango Cairns Low on offer for £199 if anyone is looking for one - was £252 and still is on others websites. Free delivery too!
Me too, next on my list of stuff to buy. Gotta stop soonChange of plan.
I’m now going to use it on the sliding doors.
Hi @czmate1999. Having done my research the Cube seems to offer a lot for the money in comparison with other makes, and it's getting good write-ups. It also looks the dog's doodahs! The 140 seems to be better received than the 160 and I think this is because the 160 is playing with the Enduro big-boys and is more expensive. As with most things (especially T6s!), I started with a budget in mind and then kept increasing the spec and before long I was at risk of blowing a small fortune. As the saying goes - to make a small fortune......start off with a large one! I didn't expect to get something to this sort of specification when I first started looking.Been salivating over this since your post. having looked online it looks to be the Cube Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC Race 625 2021 Electric Full Sus MTB Grey. Will you be doing much off-roading or down hill stuff? if you don’t mind, could you share what made you settle on Cube? I’m currently looking at cube and haibike...
cheers.
Thanks for the write up! sounds good. My biking will be a bit more sedate but i do like trail riding through mountains, the odd bumpy path and woodland - certainly nothing like in that video!! Yeah the spec of the bike is great although my main use would be road, country and bit of mountain travel so it may be a bit overkill for me. We will see . Can't remember if there is an bike/emtb group on here - will have to take a look.Hi @czmate1999. In particular, it's got the higher output 4th Gen Bosch motor and a larger battery. Bosch motors are considered the best for power delivery, especially the eMTB setting. I'm going to upgrade the display from the standard Purion to the Kiox or Nyon as these offer far more information, route planning and most importantly in my view, security. Once you've paired your display with the motor in the bike, the motor won't work once the display is removed. I'm also thinking of fitting a tracker as there are too many scrotes around breaking into properties at night to steal high value bikes. I've got an Asgard and will be installing a ground anchor in it, along with CCTV. I've already bought the 4 camera 4K cctv system to monitor the van, and I can access it remotely from anywhere. However, whilst I've set it up and run the cables all around my loft, I haven't yet mounted the cameras outside on the eaves..... which means I can get four different views of the inside of my loft any time I want at the moment!!
I'm not a hardcore downhill or serious trail rider and until now I've only owned/used a hardtail, although I have done some scary downhill stuff on it on Dartmoor with some guys who are quite frankly nuts. I wouldn't have thought it possible to ride over such stuff - rocks, boulders, jumps, steps - it really was heart in your mouth stuff - and sometimes saddle, as some of the stuff we went down was so crazy steep that you have to hang your nuts over the back tyre to stay on, resting your chin on the saddle! The Cube has a dropper post so you can drop your saddle out of the way on the steep stuff - like I said - good specification! Having survived these jaunts unscathed apart from bramble/bracken rash, it's such an adrenaline rush. I plan to do a bit more of this sort of stuff with the Cube, but I draw the line at this sort of stuff!! Mad MTB!
Love a set of new blades, makes you appreciate how crap your last ones were and what it’s like to be able to see the road.New wiper blades...
Unfortunately, I had to rip them from the screen yesterday and now they are toast. A twin pack from wiperblades.co.uk winging they way to me today.Love a set of new blades, makes you appreciate how crap your last ones were and what it’s like to be able to see the road.
Not heard of that company b4. Added to the list as I will need a rear one soon enough. Cheers @LozUnfortunately, I had to rip them from the screen yesterday and now they are toast. A twin pack from wiperblades.co.uk winging they way to me today.
REVO remap booked for Saturday at Demon Tweeks
Didnt get any serious interest in it and wasn't getting a decent PX price against a 6.1 so decided to keep itI thought you were selling your T6?
Don’t say you’ve changed your mind again?
@Ayjay , thank you for the pics. if not a bother, are you able to post a side pic with the XT2 in the down position and the gate open as far as it will go please? I have a Thule 928. Happy with it, but like the folding and storage with the XT2. Opening the rear gate is important for me, so want to see the extent of interference between the two before I take the plunge. Thanks
@kurienp - Here you go. If you need anything else, just shout. Are you contemplating a possible modification? I considered it but am not smart enough to tell whether cutting away the necessary piece of plastic would damage the structural integrity of the rack! I suspect I'll just live with it as is.No problem - I'll sort something out tomorrow
