What Have You Bought Today?

We ought to form an 'open box re-sale' collective. Using the prospect of an instant sale, buy up unwanted, used-once forum purchases cheaply and then sell-on for a modest profit (to be shared by collective members).
We would need a “frequent flyer” style loyalty scheme for some members though!!!

I'm tempted to start a business renting driveway awnings or canopies!
Our latest purchase as advised and recommended by @czmate1999 is the air version, should be arriving tomorrow.
For shorter stays it will be much less hassle than our rather large Kampa touring air.
Wifey likes the idea of being able to get the toilet tent underneath it.

I have the metal pole version , good bit of kit not full sides though just diagonal sides. Easy enough to put up I would imagine even easier with the Air version.

I've seen a few of the pole versions in action and always been envious of the speed of set-up and packable awayableness. I didn't realise an air one was available until today, with a Dometic air pump at hand it was bought on sight. For 10+ years we've always done the Air thing, and never regretted it. I now have 6 airtube patch kits which have never been used, it will be great not to have to lug around our 'kin great big drive away awning for 2/3 nighters. We will still use the Fiamma 45s for overnighters though, that is certainly the favourite for ease. I'm hoping the awning spend has now been finalised, no more please!

Yeah there are a couple (or was at couple at the time of looking). I feel I paid a fair price for t to be honest, compared to the other one that was up for sale. First job is to change the clocks over to MPH
You might need to map the ecu to run on uk fuel.
I had to get that done on a GTR I imported from Japan.

Ahh right I’ve never heard of that before
Japs fuel is 100 ron
Uk unleaded 95 ron
Uk super unleaded 97 ron
I fitted an aftermarket ecu and got it mapped on shell V power which is 99 Ron.
Most modern ecus can be mapped pretty easily without being replaced.
It might not be a problem on your R32 but I’d check to find out anyway as running an engine with fuel with a lower octave content than its mapped for can damage your engine.

First oil service for the van today (@ 1 year/ 6600 miles).

Used a local independent and he told me the oil and filter looked like new, but I'm happy to have them changed annually if it'll help with long term reliability.

Whilst the van's under warranty, my plan is to use the main dealer for servicing (under the extended interval regime) and to supplement this with annual oil changes at the independent.

Good approach

we have the pole version . . . same as @czmate1999

its great for short stays that dont need the whole extra room thing.

New wheel and tyres day, fed up with 20inch alloys fitted with rubber bands as tyres (275-40-20) and gone for the Swamper look Oz Racing Raid alloys 235-65-17 General grabbers AT3
Just drove back from garage 1 hour drive a mixture of motorway and B roads . The difference is night and day much better less crashy and feels better on the road, no noticeable noise increase, MPG apparently the same but will check as I put more miles on. Was looking at BF Goodrich tyres but from reviews and personal experience of my mates pick up they were very noisy on the road.

I'll give your comment a like, even though you're putting me off buying 20" wheels that I desperately want must have for purely childish and aesthetic reasons!!

A nice set of 20" Velares all wrapped up with Michelin CC2's and a trip to Steve in Cannock will make you very happy, if not somewhat poorer. A very comfortable, stable, quiet ride and even quieter when fully loaded. Suspension is key, the difference to ours was staggering.

It’s a difficult one - UK roads are in such a state that the taller sidewall tyre/smaller rim makes sense but I still think a Transporter on big wheels looks better
