Thank you.Looking really good Dave! Happy Valentines to you both! X
Thanks also to the very nice chaps in @Absolut5, Jason and Noel have worked wonders in a small space fitting in so much power and potential so neatly.

Good job you have plenty of power available in the van.A new power tool.
Wifey forgot her hair dryer last year at the forum summer camp. @VanDamMan 's lovely wife loaned my good lady a posh Dyson hair dryer, and wifey hasnt stopped talking about how excellent it was. Consequently I find myself down 400 notes to fund another van related acquisition. Bluddy forum....!
Valentines sorted though!

Think you been conned Wayne.
That looks more like a ‘personal massager’than a hair dryer

Update on my van. Jason and Noel finished the install and took it outside into the sun to check the solar charging and everything else and they’ve discovered the solar panel isn’t working, and neither is the new Ablemail which I had bought at the back end of last year and supplied along with the victron shunt and seat base battery. You old romantic you! Chris is getting a part share in upgrading our van leisure electrics for her birthday and valentines this month. Love is a beautiful install.

It will indeed be betterer once they've done their thing. I love the way it's been installed. So neat, you'll love it this coming season. Coffee machine on order?! Ah no, you'll need a larger inverter, forget that!Update on my van. Jason and Noel finished the install and took it outside into the sun to check the solar charging and everything else and they’ve discovered the solar panel isn’t working, and neither is the new Ablemail.. There will need to be a conversation tomorrow morning before we set off to collect it as the van is no real use with no solar charging and Ablemail function. We’d already considered the need to upgrade the panel to meet the potential of the seat base battery but I wasn’t expecting that expense this week. Oh well, it will be so much better for a bigger and more powerful panel than the 130w panel that is currently fitted.
I’ve got my Lavazza coffee machine already. I’m sure my 2200w peak inverter will get me a good coffee from it.It will indeed be betterer once they've done their thing. All good things, etc....I’ve got my Lavazza coffee machine already. I’m sure my 2200w peak inverter will get me a good coffee from it.
They have done a cracking job with the install. All there stuff looks amazing and they’re nice guys too. I’m hoping they have a great solution to the problem that will not take long to fit and won’t make my eyes water at the cost. Though, to be fair, they are not only producing great installs they’re doing it at a great price. Hopeful for tomorrow. My excitement at picking up the van has been tempered somewhat by this evenings news.
You'll get a cheaper starter battery than £224Ok, first the good news. We’ve picked up the van and it’s amazing. Great job @Absolut5. Everything from them is in perfect working order and beautifully installed.
Then there’s the bad news. In finally testing they have discovered the solar panel was jiggered do the can is booked in again in March for a replacement and upgraded solar panel. Next failure was the Ablemail i had previously bought from Mick at Simply Split Charge. That didn’t work on install so I’ve been in touch with Mick and he’ll sort that out without quibble. Finally, it turns out the hesitance starting the van from cold is because we also need a new starter battery. There’s an opportunity to part with another £224.00 according to the Bristol Batteries website.
Oh well, the new install is fantastic and the reverse camera is marvellous so it’s mostly good news!!
Thanks Jason and Noel. See you in March.
I hope so. I’ve not looked yet. They’ve always been really good. The guys in the one near me in Swindon have been great when I’ve been in there for different things. You'll get a cheaper starter battery than £224
