What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Stance is looking really good. If you get any front rubbing at that height it’s the width and profile of the tyres that are part of the problem. You can heat gun the inner arch if it rubs inside, remove the top outer liner screw if it rubs the outside. I have had to do both running a similar height to you and I’m running 265/40 tyres.
This was my fear tbh. I’ll find out when I take it out later this week.

Today took ..Bam..off the axle stands...learn’t something new ...remember that when taking off the wheels that the suspension will drop ( sat scratching me head for a while  ) so callipers painted..wheels cleaned...when time allow’s ( who’s kidding....) Bam needs a wash

Replaced my cheapo solar controller with a Victron SmartSolar device. Very impressed with what you can do over bluetooth on these.

Fitted the new badge with back plate painted in reflex silver.

The aftermarket badge and/or grill is rubbish though and my attempts to make the VW sit nicely on the backplate have failed. Also needed to tape it all on as clips didn’t work and I was told by travelin lite that the grill is not designed to work with the back plate (but didn’t work without it either!)

Took it out for a test drive and it’s catching the top liner screw on the outside. Might raise it 10mm and then check again. A bit gutted really cos it looks cool as f**k!

Try taking the screw out, push the arch liner up behind the tab that the screw goes into and then bend the tab upwards a bit. That'll give you a bit more clearance. It takes only a few minutes to do and might save you raising the height.

To be honest, I’ve raised it 10mm and now it’s fine. Just can’t hammer it over speed bumps!;)

Could you tell me where you connected the light to please. Any pics?
I picked up the courtesy feed from the white plug behind the glovebox so that they only come on when a door is opened/unlocked. You could connect to the cab courtesy light which @Deaky has done so you can turn them off if you’re camping but that wasn’t a feature I needed. Caravelle’s have them connected to the ambient circuit but I only wanted them on when a door is opened.

Added a BM2 to both starter and leisure batteries, and a Victron charger connector lead to the starter so i can plug in a charger rather than use clips.
Very impressed with the BM2’s. You get a lot of function for less than £20

I’m currently sat in my kitchen which is at least 5M and 2 brick walls away from the van and I can still connect to the Starter, sadly not the leisure which is a little further away and the other side of the battery
