What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

How do you that then, I looked for it with my Carista and couldn’t find it in the menu.
You have to convert the display from U.K. To Australia (on Carista). Then on the mfd go to settings. Untick alt speed dis, then go to mfd data and tick digit speed. Finally change consumption/dist units back to gallons/mph and boom job done

This might help

For my sins today I’ve lowered the hand brake bracket trimmed the plastic on the seat and hand brake and sprayed up the seat base. 4hrs but well worth it I can reach the pedals again

Visited Steve & Steve @CRS Performance for a new suspension and ARB set up, fantastic lads nothing was a problem, even on the third time the ramp had gone up after me saying “ can you adjust at little more “
Drive home was nice, quiet & smooth. A far better purchase than the B14’s (IMO) and I have had spring, B14’s and Air in the Past

I fitted my Westfalia detachable tow bar. Well, the mechanical bits at least.
I'm also wiring in lights, USB sockets and reversing camera so I'll hit the wiring in one go.

So what did you have fitted this time?

Additional floor brackets to increase seating permutations - a single shuttle seat will go in 3 positions in the second row now!! It was a phaff getting the brackets and nuts on - underbody plastics, heat shield and exhaust dropped!

Started sticking the dodo mat down as well - about a third of the floor done.

I’m following this with huge interest. Especially how to set it up to disable the reverse sensors when the electrics are connected.
As long as you use a vehicle specific loom and have the VCDS coded then it will automatically disable the parking sensors and rear fog lights and adjust the stability program when a trailer etc is connected.

Has anybody fitted (or thought of fitting) parking sensors to a towbar mounted bike rack? Back in the day (ie. before parking sensors came with most if not all new cars on the market), I seem to recall that you could buy a number plate surround with sensors built in and it strikes me that such a thing might be useful. OK, they might have limited sensor coverage but should certainly be able to tell when you are about to hit the wall, post etc. directly behind you.

You can buy after market parking sensors with a display for a lot less than £20.
You’ve got me thinking now :)

Pete
