Fitted these to replace the ones that have been cracked for a while. Not totally convinced I like them, but they're better than the broken grey ones.

Had some vinyl in black silk so decided to see what the chrome badge looked like in black....

Fitted Altro floor, drilled several holes through the floor without killing anything, then bolted in an RIB 130 slider. Replaced Kombi card panels with carpeted ply panels. After many hours of prep, today has been satisfyingly transformational.
Next task is identify the very annoying rattle.........

After the front badge yesterday now blacked out the other two pieces of chrome trim with silk black vinyl...

It's Metamark 7 Vehicle Vinyl in Black Silk. I have a sticker business so I got it directly from Metamark (www.stickerdrops.co.uk). I like Metamark but any good brand should work, 3M / Avery. Have you got a local sign shop? They should sell you a metre or so... probably cheaper than eBay

Finished installing carpeted panels, including a stealthy IKEA allen key to hold the tailgate latch in - the extra width was too much for the clips.


Also, an edge to finish the Altro floor - £3.

Fitted the Awning handle to the side of the van. Simple but effective and stops is rolling around.

How is the base board fitted to the floor or seats so it doesn’t move around?

I made a table base to fit the table leg socket onto. It is secured in place using the space available under the rear bench seat (Kombi). Saves me having to drill into floor and its easily removed.View attachment 66883

Great idea, how does it stay in place under the seats?

I made a soft close drawer unit for under the rear twin Kombi seat.
Not the most straight forward job for a non joiner, but I was rather impressed with my handy work.
I also ran out of carpet so I had to two tone it.
Just need an idea for a smart looking flat strap kinda handle to suit the box now.
