What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

View attachment 98980

Filled it with diesel (working from home so not put any fuel in since early December  ) then went for a blast up the dual carriageway, then came back indoors to continue researching wheels and suspension because I hate these Claytons
Snap, but so many choices, if the clayton was a 18" 8j it would be a sweet alloy!

Refit roof bar wasnt 100 percent happy with, fill up with diesel, good clean polish and seal! As @t6blo said, dam claytons, saving the pennies for some new ones!

What did you use on the door rubber cable covers, mine have that yellow film on? Your one look like new.
I use WD40 works great. Mine were yellow, looked like they still had the delivery wax on them.

WD40 to the rescue.

Toothbrush and Rhino bike cleaner but anything with nonionic surfactant should do it. Sprayed with silicone lube and a wipe down to finish!

Thanks, will try a can. Cheers
Only trouble with WD40 is that it leaves a sticky film for the dust etc. It great for cleaning and water displacement (who’d have thought!) and I would recommend GT85 as an alternative or in addition as it leaves a PTFE non stick film - spray it everywhere except braking surfaces- I buy it by the dozen for my bikes and they stay looking new!

Putting in my caravelle seats after converting from a 1+2 front set up. I don’t have the rear bolts or front Hex nuts to fit the seat to the base. Can anyone link me to some of the correct ones ? I believe they are m8 hex nuts but want to be sure on both.
