What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

I thought it was the Exxon Valdez
Squirted it off....
Got them from VanStyle, picture before and after, not the best photos but a nice improvement.
Hope someone might be able to help.
I have fitted the puddle lights & red warning lights in the side of the door panel.
On the passenger side, for the puddle light, I have connected to the red & white wire, the other cable I have connected to the brown yellow wire ( there was no brown black wire on my van).
The light came on, but now I have no DAB signal on the radio.
Has anyone got any idea as to what I have done wrong?

Hi @Whiz, they are projecting lights that sit in the bottom of your door card.
I got them from @saxoboy. He will be able to help you out as you get all of the instructions on how to do it.
Honestly it’s not too difficult so long as you follow the instructions that come with the kit.

The red & white wire is in the bunch that goes under the window motor, the brown & yellow is in the bunch that goes to the door catch.
There was no brown & black wire in that bunch. When I read through the puddle light thread, it said to use the brown& yellow wire.
After connecting it & noticing the problem, I then read further down the thread & Mick Robson had the same issue. I have directed a post towards him, & have also asked Saxoboy if he has any ideas.

Had another look at the wiring on the passenger side today. I did find the brown & black wire. As I said in my other post on the For Sale forum, the brown stripe was not easy to distinguish. Anyway, re connected to the correct wire, & hey presto, DAB working. However, when I open either door, I lose the DAB signal until I shut the door.
Weird.
I have been giving this some thought, It might be that I have damaged the brown yellow cable when I put the t tap on it.
Does anyone have an idea what that wire does, as I don't want to cut it & re join it before I know?
