What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

You’re doing a nice job the @Texxaco - slow and steady is the way. Are you etch priming first or just using ordinary primer? (Or, W&D and straight to gloss?) It’s great that you’re getting to fix all the nicks too - at least now you know that the job is done properly (and saving money for other toys!)
Cheers @JOG, bloody annoying that it wasn’t done properly the first time. Straight to W&D then gloss, then bake, then W&D, then a second coat, then bake in our super hot airing cupboard.

Its surprising what comes in handy for the van!

Ha ha ha! I can’t wait until SWMBO finds out what you’re doing in her airing cupboard!!!

Bit like the time the misses came home early and found the cylinder head from my old escort baking the paint onto it in the oven, cause the paint had to go through a heat cycle first

Been there. Alloys in the dishwasher, although this was a long time ago.

Stage 1 of audio upgrade.

Focal speakers and tweeters fitted, the amp will be next weekend.

Already a big difference, you can clearly hear Steve Harris's clanking bass strings, and the Four Tops now have all their instruments, and you can tell it is the recording that is limiting their sound quality.

Swapped my front foglight bulbs for led, have the factory LEDs and the puny yellow factory foglights just looked rubbish

I'm not hugely technical but they were a doddle to swap out - literally 5 mins to do both - this is a pic halfway through, obviously in daylight and with the phone camera it's not as apparent, but with the naked eye it's night and day
