What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Not my own work, but really pleased with how the interior fit out is shaping up for my conversion. Getting fitted next week when the van is back from the paint shop where it’s having it’s two tone spray job done at present

Not really...it slopes upwards slightly and seems to stay in place.....ill ask SWMBO to drive and then we will see if it moves! :fast rofl:
Haha my stoplock is a pain in the *** might try your method with a bunjie chord or make a fastener from para chord if it works well

That must be from Cambee. You won’t be disappointed… the workmanship and design is excellent.

They are indeed, Kiravan’s blackouts. Yeah it’s on the plastic; I went steady when drilling but didn’t hit anything. I just positioned where the stud wanted to go.
I’ll send a close up later.
For anybody who’s got a lock switch on that sliding door bit, this is where my converters put the press stud

Fixed my leaky sliders. Prised out from the runners leaving release mechanism in place before cleaning the drip channels and more importantly a bead of silicone sealant in the groove by the glass.

Installed swell shades - very happy with them although better instructions would be useful. Top tip - If using the pod system take all self tappers (handily half screwed) out before offering it up.

Washed the van, baptism of fire for the newly watertight sliders - they passed.

Fitted a passenger swivel and bike rack.

Its been a good day off and feel ready for camping over the weekend now - just hope the vanshades screen cover comes tomorrow!PXL_20210526_103756809.jpgPXL_20210526_154849967.jpgPXL_20210526_154955835.jpgPXL_20210526_175334436.jpg

Finished off the insulation and knocked out a bit of carpet lining on the panels and run in the wires for 12v, usb, led lights and mains sockets midships and aft. Moving on to the leisure battery install tomorrow… beginning to realise I’m getting a bit long in the tooth for this stuff! Curse my aching bones :)C441B360-7687-445B-88AF-6552CDBE9691.jpegC9B89D26-4108-47CF-AFCA-ADE154FE4356.jpeg7E48B1FD-8477-4E8C-818F-5CF064683026.jpegE325F536-5A0B-4764-984B-7F6CF07E405E.jpegD8507BDA-2049-4D0F-BF5B-071784F8B2E1.jpeg

Finally got around to fitting some pushy bits for a Dometic/Waeco MSH300 Heated Seat retrofit.

Big hat-tip to Van-X for sorting me out with a slightly-tweaked blanking panel - a great attitude to Customer Service and just what I was looking for, since standard T6 dash blanks are not big enough to comfortably accommodate the MSH300 heater switches.

Just need to get around to connecting up a few bits of electric string now before the cold season returns...
