When my better half sits in the back of her bus her feet are left dangling in the air, so today I made a foot rest to make long journeys more comfortable.

He would probably put heated pads for her feet if it wasn’t for the beers! 
Finished the leisure battery and EHU install.
Forgot to plug the drivers seat in before testing so now got a latched airbag warning - doh!

Been a long week but van now has improved sound proofing, insulation, bit of carpet lining, led lights USB & 12v ports and ac outlets
if I ever end up on ehu.
Got a diesel heater installation booked for July and still waiting for my Kombi bed and hidden awning rail to be delivered

Loaded it and stopped for some essentials on the way to Northumberland
Just fitted this very stealthy awning rail from Camper Essentials. Very well made rail.... no sharp edges, pre drilled and pre shaped to bolt straight on. Came very well packaged too.... all wrapped up inside this hard plastic pipe!

Gave the brake calipers a wee touch up with silver hammerite, they were starting to look a bit grubby.

How long did it take to receive yours? I’ve got one on order with them since 8th May, keep getting emails telling me he is working night and day to fulfil orders but when I ask for an estimated delivery date just get told when it’s ready as they are hand finished and I’m in a queue….Just fitted this very stealthy awning rail from Camper Essentials. I ordered mine on the 25th April and it came last Wednesday (26th May). I personally think he should make it a bit clearer on his website that it will take a few weeks rather than a few days. Great rail though when you get it.

Two/three jobs:
- Finally picked up a used Atera DL3. Looks and feels like a quality bit of kit. Impressed that I can open / close the tailgate with bikes on the rack.
- Finally tested out the new tow bar electrics and to my relief, they work perfectly. Now just need to code it to stop my reversing sensors…
- Fitted new Climair wind deflectors. They fit good I think and the small screw looks fine. Try them out on the road tomorrow.

Re fitted the side bars cos I couldn’t get the brackets off, nuts seized. Only been on 2 years. Sprayed with wd40 and I’ll try again another time.
