2 weeks ago, Not me, but the other half got rear ended in crawling traffic. All going through other parties insurance, I’ve insisted on replacement tailgate rather than pulling and filling. Popped in to the repair centre and the brand new tailgate was sat waiting in its box for Tuesday. Asked what would happen with the damaged parts, he pointed to the recycling skip. Said I’d keep them, hopefully be able to get some dollar for the tailgate - might be suitable for an older T5 conversion.

When I done my conversion, I saw loads advertised for sale with worse damage than that.

That takes me back to this time last year.

Can I ask what gauge wire you’ve used from start battery to CTEK? - I was originally going to use 10mm2 but upped it to 16mm2 in case I wanted to upgrade to a more beefy Dc-dc and lithium setup in the future.

( in reality , running a larger cable from the starter battery at a later date is a very small job compared to other stuff I’ve done on the van since then)

I bought my ctek pre wired and cable from starter battery is just 6mm2 , i was slightly concerned about that but i email ctek and they told me is perfectly fine

Finished the second tambour door under the sink and installed the display for leisure battery, getting closer to completion as only got to cut the worktop and install the sink and hob unit

Got one side carpet lined, first attempt using the stuff, quite happy with the outcome but my god that stuff eats blades! I realised after taking these photos I put the rear tailgate seal on the wrong way around Absolute nightmare getting it on to start with.

Did the DAB signal improve? I got one of those DAB ariels that stick to the front screen and the signal is not great.
Interesting you say that, as I’m considering a windscreen one over the OEM wing mirror setup. Not worth it, then?

I've got a Kenwood headunit and it's ok but drops out too often for me so just looking for an improvement....not sure how much it would improve with oem but at just over £10 it's gotta be worth a try Ads

One rear lowering spring, as it was to hot, and a pain in the butt to get the wishbone down to fit it in.

Any tips for when I attempt the other side later on?
