What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

That’s deer! But the bloke following you can have it away
I haven’t eaten road kill deer but I’m informed it isn’t great unless it’s been quickly bled. Another reason for uprated tailgate struts I guess.

Another use case for a bike rack! See plonker in front hit deer…pick it up and strap to bike rack! When secure, slash throat and drive home (taking roundabouts with vigour!)

Also on rare sunny summer days you could use it as a drying rack to make beef jerky

About 15 years ago I was on a Police ARV when I got sent to a report of a deer badly injured on the side of a busy road, I got there and it was clear that no vet was going to put things right so I would end it's suffering with a head shot. A Passat estate full of builders tools pulled over and the Polish driver asked me, "can I have it?". I told him to get back in his car and when he heard the bang, it was his.
A few seconds later I despatched the poor thing and the builder was out of the car like a shot, Stanley knife in hand. It was bled, gutted and skinned in quick time and the carcass was in the car. That guy certainly knew what he was doing and nothing went to waste, all the offal went back in the ribcage!
People from countries less affluent than ours really do know how to utilise everything!

My boss told us that every round was £100 out of the overtime budget, it made us much more frugal!
Looking at how a copper who lives near us (who is ARV) parks, she’d need more than one mag!!!

Special forces styler. One shot one kill

Lying by the side of the road, legs broken, in shock. More than one round would merit an investigation/ ticket pulled.....

Managed to give the 6.1 a wash and clean today.
Possibly the first opportunity I’ve had to do this without the fear of my hosepipe freezing up!
As is usual for me, post wash, stood back to admire my handiwork.................... light drizzle!
Not too concerned, at least the van was clean. Went mad with the Henry and fettled the inside while I was at it. Cab floor given a good clean in preparation for tomorrows cab carpet mat fitting. Think I'll chance it and fit my new Climair wind deflectors while I'm at it.

Happy days!

Awning bolted on. Bit of guesswork with the required brackets with only pics and no dimensional data available. Lucked out in that it all went together and I didn’t even need to re-drill holes to align, just needed cut the supplied coach bolts down in length a bit. New roofbox up too (shorter one to fit in front of my spare) but was too dark at that point to snap a pic!
