Fitted some THQ gloss black side bars- seem to be good quality and made of stainless steel so hopefully less rust when they get chipped

Here it is! the STX suspension fitted.
200 mile round trip yesterday and couldn't be happier, thank you @BognorMotors again for the advice and recommendation in going for this kit.

Was going to hold off for a month or so to buy and fit the rollbars but now I've got the bug to get this thing going around corners faster they're going to get fitted this week along with some rear spacers.

Big brake kit next I think, any recommendations?

Spent the day sound deadening the final part of the van, as well as wiring the towbar electrics and fitting 12v and USB sockets (via ignition switches). I didn’t like that you could see the wiring under the seats with the OEM plastic seat covers so made some cover plates. Really happy with the outcome:

Might not be everybody's cup of tea but felt I was not getting much use out of the table and needed worksurface so I chopped 10cm of the rail and attached it in two pieces to the drawer. I now have an L shaped kitchenette.

And when I want to use the Captains chair and have that cup of tea I made a little swivel table out of two computer screen arms

Not exactly today, but yesterday, I gave it (another) wash, and fitted smoked sequential repeaters from THQ.
These came with a dashboard seal and "sounds like a Golf" door seals I put on last weekend.



Also, after seeing a bit of advice on here, dropped my tyre pressures down to 40psi. There is a noticeable difference in ride comfort from the 50 that the converter put in.

The 40psi made a massive difference for me. Trying 40 at the front and 38 on the back for my 20inch rims. The 50psi should only be on Commercial C labelled tyres.

The minorest of mods but finally got to remove the chrome lettering and fit the new gloss black replacement.
Complements the gloss black VW badge perfectly!

Ordered a set of purple beaded brake hoses after finding I had this on the passenger caliper.

Most annoying but thankfully non of it got on the body as it’s also a great paint stripper.
